Long story short; I'm writing a short story where a character genuinely tries to respond to a scam email but keeps accidentally screwing it up. I want to try loosely basing her on an actual bait, but my catcher account and Surplus only have a handful of ones that fit my interest.

I'm specifically looking for tear-jerkers. Do any of you have some orphans, princes with murderous uncles, dying widows, etc? The more reminiscent of a cheesy soap opera the better.

... Also Illuminati/cult scams, because I really wanna set Old Beryl loose on a secret organisation.
