I got two hınzırlar with Cameroonian names on them, from two different lads, within a week. Firef1y is also dealing with a Cameroonian lad in Turkey. How did these Cameroonians come to be in Turkey, and what happens to them when their banks find out that their accounts are being used for fraud?

What do you mean by hınzırlar? The only translation I'm finding is "wicked".

"hınzır" means "pig" and is from Arabic; "-lar" is the plural ending. The other word for "pig" is "domuz", which is native Turkic.

Turkey seems to be becoming a new hotspot for scammer's accounts. That is what I can tell from what I have learned from a German forum where women report Turkish accounts in increasing numbers. The account holders do have Nigerian names. The reason might be that the risk of cross-border prosecution seems to be low. We are working on establishing a contact to the police in Istanbul to report these cases to the local authorities

yes, that's what I've heard too...

it has become insanely easy to open bank accounts in turkey. I know that from mzungu, who got that from my beloved anderson Twisted Evil

so there seem to be a lot of lads or mules (in this case, the lad-gangs are sending someone over to turkey).

could be fun to bait as a turkish citizen in germany, who can barely speak turkish, and will visit his family from the far eastern part... means: safari the lad over there Twisted Evil

Are you thinking of خنزير? If so, you'd need to spell it khinzir as the kh is a totally different letter than H or h. There isn't any plural -lar ending in Arabic. Or are you saying that there is a Turkish adoption of the Arabic word? I don't know if Turkish has a -lar ending.

Regarding Turkish bank accounts, I'm seeing those a lot lately also.

It is a Turkish word borrowed from Arabic. -lar or -ler is the plural ending in Turkish; other Turkic languages also have -tar/-ter and maybe -nar/-ner.

The Swahili plural of "kitabu" is "vitabu", which makes no sense to Arabs.

I just got another one! His account is at the same bank as the previous one from the same lad; both Cameroonians are involved in sports or athletics.
