How Many Simultaneous Baits?

The answer might be "as many as you can handle" but I wonder how many baits you all do at once? I've found many of my lads lately have had their email accounts shut down shortly into the bait so I've been trying to do up to 5 at a time. I seem to lose 3 of them a week though, just from their accounts getting shut down. I haven't been able to get one past a few weeks for a while.

Just curious, as I'm sure everyone is different.

I'd say the same. 3 to 5 going at the same time with the thought only one will survive the first 7 days. If I do get one that looks like it's going to go for the long run, I may drop the others myself to focus on him.

At the same time I'll also run a character or two doing fake ID and document harvesting from a feed from my catchers, but they only last two or three exchanges before they're over.

2 is about my limit. But have had up to 5 on the go at once.

I had several on the go at one point and got my characters mixed up, signed the wrong name, and lost them. Cut back at that point. As for numbers, I find it easier to keep them straight if I do several different types at once. (loan lad here, hit lad there...) 3-5 baits in total though.
The only exception would be the vlads which take forever to develop and it is usually useless blather for the first few weeks. For those it's easier to keep multiple baits going.

This is tough to answer. It all depends on the baiter and how you bait. I just checked and since the Walk began, I have reported accounts received from 212 different email accounts. Most of these were exchanges over a week or two and some continue now.

However, I've also baited about 4 FB lads in the same time.

The number depends on how you bait and what is comfortable. I keep "standard" replies in Draft folders, so I might paste the same reply to 25 different lads in the same day.

Just take on what you can and try, keep them as long as you can, and leave them wondering.

I shotgun, then pick the most promising lad. I usually only run one serious bait at a time.

I generally have somewhere around 7-10 baits in various stages going at once. Really it depends on how many lads contact me, because I rarely email them first these days unless I am joining a mass bait.

Roger must be on several sucker lists out there, because it is rare for me to go a week without a new lad popping up in my spam with his format. I bait them very slowly until they drop me, and if I can get them responding past a couple replies that usually takes over a month.

I personally work in batches and whenever I have the time. So, when I feel baity, I fire up the initial "Tell me more" mail to 20-30 addressed I've fished outta my spam box/surplus forum here.

Then I bait the ones that I can more or less easily off the script. This usually nets to 3-5 active ones. After I lose the last one, I start again.
