I need some urgent assistance please.....I am in a state of panic and I really don't know what to do or which way to turn....On Monday 2 October I fell victim to a scam and now I want to catch them....because I was not aware of the do's and don'ts they unfortunately have some private information of me....what do I do? how do I go about things now?

First - cut off contact. Do not respond to emails, phone calls, etc.
Second - check out the above listed site. It will have much more comprehensive information for you.
Third - if your financial or identification information may be compromised, report this to the appropriate agencies immediately.
Final note - it is rare for the scammers to be caught. They use fake information and are most often operating in countries where your nation's law enforcement has no reach. That is why this site exists. If they can't be stopped, we can waste their time so that they cannot scam real victims. And, hopefully, make them so skittish that if they do happen to get a potential real victim they will stop the first time a question is asked.
