Typo in money email provides new angle

I used to do a little bit of scambaiting in the past, and have now returned to keep a few scammers company during my spare time.

I have an inheritance scammer on the line, and I have based my character from New Zealand. Their bank is asking for money to help the process along (as they eventually do) - but there is a typo in the currency.

The typo involves the Z in New Zealand Dollar being replaced by an S. This confused me for a while since there is unrecognised micronation by that name. At first I thought that I was being trolled by the scammer, then I spotted the lone New Zealand Dollar in the payment details.

Since this is a copy/paste type error that I think doesn't happen often I don't think I would be educating the scammer by being confused at trying to send this currency via MG or WU (even though I would be confused about what those are too since they have not yet 'explained' what those services are and why I can't just send using my bank).

Trying (and failing) to send this currency could have the scammer stop customizing the currency to the victims local currency though..

I am going to sleep on this, but thought I'd sign up and share this example of a typo that amused me.
