Need help identifying scam

I've been sent an email from a member of a dating site and it is asking me to click a link. Obviously I don't want to click it but want to know, from your experience, is it a scammer I should continue to bait or just ignore them?

Here's the message they sent.

verify you are not a mass murderer or any sex offender and above 18. you don't seem like the type (which is why I'm talking to you) , but I had a bad experience once before, so it's kind of a requirement of mine.

Take your pick from spam, phishing or malware, it could be any of them. Just delete it as it isn't baitable.
