As I said, I don't think it will be a big issue if love lad threads are included in Main. OP is correct that the lines between the different styles of baits can be blurred. I don't generally introduce love angles into my baits, but I have co-baited with folks who have, and it often helps us force the lads to do what we want and wastes even more of their time.
