So I found a lad that was offering 750,000 US dollars and posing as someone working at Western Union. The only catch was you have to pay 87.00 for MTCN.
Posing as Karen T, I emailed this guy. This is what I have so far and I will continue to update as it goes on.

Hello, that sounds like a plan to me. However, about the fee. Is it possible for you to just take the money out of the $750,000? Or to use anything other than Moneygram?
If not that's totally fine, thought I'd ask though.

I guess, at least half of the real victims will ask this question, just to be clever and to avoid that fee.

you are doing fine.

the next steps will be: either he will be frustrated and skip the initial payment in favor of a bigger payment, or he will stick to the initial payment and go for the moneygram or western union dance. you can tell him all sorts of things that you want to send it via bank transfer... hello bank account.

you can also go for the "your assistant sent me a message with a new bank account, and that I should send it over there". the lad will be furious because of that dollar chop and yet he'll see that you are a paying victim.

Seriously, you are doing a great great job!. Keep him going.. I love the suggestion about the assistant offering you a bank account.. After he loses his mind and recovers. Tell him it would be easier to use a bank account and get your first Closed lad accounts

nicely done, and one technique to help drag out the lads anguish is to ask just one question per e-mail, so the question about taking the fee from the money would be sent, then when they reply you can ask them about this "moneygram" thingy

if you send them all your questions in one go, they'll just ignore the whole thing - ask one question each time, questioning a different aspect, that you need reassuring about before you can send the money

I've been doing this with my lads, either deleting their earlier message or sending a fresh message to break up the conversation - then after a few days, when they've got me reassured and ready to send the money, I ask them to send the payment details (again) which can start the conversation all over again

Your lad is asking for a paltry sum. He is the definition of a smallboi. You most likely won't get anything from him other than practice. Which is what you need most. Keep this a simple straight bait. Ask him a single question a day. Work on your delay. You control the pace of the bait, not him. Remember to make your question specific. Don't let him think he can copy and paste an answer from his script. You are limited only by your imagination.

And if you feel like this hobby is for you, I suggest signing up for a mentor.

Welcome serh.! Some very good advice up there ^^

Many of the scams we bait have a bit more "wiggle room" at the start while the scammers work to soften up their victims before introducing a payment. Here, your scammer has started immediately with the request for money - as Ser Davos says, that makes it a bit challenging to get very far.

A couple people suggest asking just one question per email and I'm in that group as well. It really doesn't matter what kinds of questions you ask, at this stage the idea is getting more familiar with the way they interact with their potential victims, so you can learn to anticipate what's coming next.

Your suggestion that he take this fee out of the big sum is a good one, and RH der 1 mentioned a couple of possibilities of what he might do next. Once in a while lads running this sort of scam will just fixate on the small sum (87.00) and if this is the case you will know it right away as he won't do anything without this fee.

But if he thinks he can get more out of you by "paying" the fee himself, this is a perfect opportunity for the bait to develop. Many lads will do this - it gives the victim the impression that the scammer character is personally invested in the deal too, giving him more leverage when it comes time for a real payment to be made by the victim.
