Over the years I have dealt with customer service reps for some products I bought from (legit, safe sites of course) and I noticed sometimes that, I type like the customer service rep.

I think over the years of reading responses from them, I took on their language and sometimes I write like them out of the blue.

Anyone else? Or is it just me ahahah~

Hello!

Thank you very much for your post, I agree that it's a very interesting fact, but at this moment it is not confirmed if the symptoms described are a real condition. We will let you know once we have more information!

Have a nice day,

Much appreciated of the prompt response to this matter. I look forward to your findings of the cause of these symptoms. ;p

Which company you work for? Unless that is classified.

It's not exactly classified - it's in my CV after all, and I no longer work there for that matter, but it might lead to my real identity, so I won't share Smile

There is very strong evidence to suggest this occurs to every new baiter.
(You Eaters just know that I'm right here.)

Usually your first character will write more like your real self.
As you develop new characters, you will find that changing not only the personality of the character, but the writing for each character is one of the keys to unlocking their fictitious trunkboxes and getting them to get inside your locked box. This is very important in order to make the lad believe your story. Character development can be the most fun of all, and the most devastating in getting at the lad's greed.

There are "serious characters" most times, and then sometimes things just devolve into "Goofy."
https://forum.419eater.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=230596

Bottom line...It's your bait, not the lad's. Whatever hurts them, do it.
No mercy.
Welcome to Eater. Smile

Removed quote of previous post. Can you see this right here? -bware

Much appreciate the welcome. Playing a different character well, that will take time to develop. Thanks for the tip.

Hi thewhateverguy101

I’ve always had a knack for becoming another person (that’s a knack, right? Not a personality disorder?) but I still do the same thing for each new bait: depending on the type of scam and script the lad sends, I first come up with a name, age, location and occupation (or not). Then I start adding personal touches, like having six foster children or running a chicken farm as a hobby or maybe I’m saving up to buy a custom mud-flap business. I keep a Word doc of the bait with my character’s facts in red at the top of the file. This helps me keep my story straight throughout the bait.

If you throw in details of the character’s daily life it helps to establish their authenticity and it drives the lads crazy to have to wade through such trivial chit chat. Write a paragraph or two about how you dealt with a difficult customer that day, had a fight with your mother-in-law, or broke your big toe cleaning out the garage. I’ve found this also helps me start thinking like my character.

Another way to create a character is to choose someone you know in real life and use their personality, manner of speaking, etc. “Become” your grandma or the snooty woman at work or your crazy brother-in-law , for example.

I've found it also helps if you always sign your (character’s) name at the end of each email.

Have fun baiting!
