For a while I was sending mass insults to lads for giggles. Apparently one email address in the list I had wasn't a lad but some US-based person who had a thing against scammers. He thought I was a scammer so he set off a massive email bomb attack to my account. It went on for a couple days until I was able to get thru to him I wasn't one of them but a good guy. I almost lost that account. Needless to say I didn't take lists from that site anymore.  |

Did something very similar on my first bait, I created a separate character but accidentally used my real email address to get in touch with the lad.
As you did, I also dumped my lad immediately |

Thanks to everyone who answered! I'm feeling a bit less stupid now! It's also given me some ideas on what specifically to avoid doing on baits. The guy I'm with at the moment is surpirsingly docile (albeit showing flashes of occasional brilliance). He hasn't asled for an address, only once a passport and he quickly shut up when I refused. |
