A real life friend of mine has received a scam letter in the mail. Just waiting on her to reply to me about the scammers contact details.

Very worrying, Anyone heard of this before ? I have a picture of the letter she received too. Cheers

Yep, still happens more often than you'd think.

I myself received a NOK scam via snail mail last year, postmarked from Spain. That particular run must have targeted as many people as possible with my (not very common) last name, as family members got at different households too.

Mrs fire got one just yesterday - sent to a place we lived 10 years ago.
This one was sent from a UK location and used a regular postage stamp!
Last ones I saw were from misused office postage machines.
