Goodluck Jonathan is expected, later today, to concede defeat in the Nigerian presidential election.
The good news is that this may be the first peaceful and democratic transition in power in its national history.
Bad news: be ready for a deluge of e-mails from the new guy, Muhammadu Buhari! |

Well I can understand why he may lose. He's been giving away the Nigerians' money to out-of-country scam victims all these years. The voters are mad that they don't get any of it.

One of my baits, in which the lad is playing Tunde Lemo even though he is no longer at the Central Bank of Nigeria, is at the stage where my character is waiting for the lad to say when he can come over. The trip is delayed because of the election. |

An official being outof office or even dead seldom stops a lad from using a format that has worked in the past. Lads are lazy. Changing a name can be too much work for a lad who sends out 50 different formats a day.
We can expect to hear from President GJ for many years to come.
On a serious note for Nigeria, I do hope and pray that the new administration can be more effective in fighting terrorism and crime and help make Nigeria a much better place.
Wouldn't it be great if one day we will say, "Remember when Nigeria was known for scammers and Boko Haram?" |
