I've noticed that some of the lads have especially limited English (even compared the the usual!). I've been struggling to get these to go more than a broken sentence or two off script.

Do most of you just stick with straight baiting these lads or has anyone got any tips to draw them out a bit more? Is it worth the hassle of trying to push them off script or should I concentrate on the ones that can at least give me three sentences to latch onto and work with?

Thanks!

Thats a very good question it will be good to see what the experts say .

With my limited experience with baiting the 2 thickos i baited would do nothing off script at all !

One of my baits was a very clever lad ( by there standards ) and he would not go off script either maybe the average lad is easier to work on ?

I've sent you a PM because I'm no expert just said what has worked for me..a couple of little things you can try.

Are you email baiting or FB....

But the longer you let them copy and paste the more secure they feel, then when you cut in and disagree you can almost hear both brain cells knocking together !

Try sticking with straight baiting and convince them that you are a legitimate victim - if you are working with a gang, you will get bumped up the food chain and you will find that their English improves exponentially.

Greed is a powerful master.

They will accept the most blatant twaddle, because they won't let you go. I've told them the most ridiculous things...and they come back, why, because they can't drop you just in case you will pay up.

Notice as you go one... especially if you throw a question or two in there... they'll go away for the answer... and then sometimes you get someone on who seems to have better English, get you over a sticky patch then Bozo comes back on.

Think of it like ringing a callcentre. They'll put you on hold, ask someone, come back to you, put you on hold, maybe a supervisor comes on to clear something up, then gives you back to the first one.... but eventually you will break through, then the fun begins ! You just have to wade through some dross to get that far !
