I just allowed myself to get scamed. I'm so upset. I don't know anything about this stuff. I've just wasted 500 dollars. Can anybody please help me with this person? I can't image how much this steve guy it getting taken for.

I will post what I have below and also this Steve person is getting riped off as well. This has been one complex situation and my emotions are shot. Maybe someone can help steve and me and other people because this sounds so big.

I deleted my emails from them it looks like but I have all the pictures and yahoo messenger logs still.

Few things:

1) If you are asking us to help for recovering your money then there is very little we can do and that is to direct you to cops. And even then there is very low chances for recovering your money.

2) If you want revenge on that scammer then we would recomend against it. Bait any other scammer but not the one you have a beef with. It just doesn't work well. Other baiters here may go after him but you don't need to know about it. Just forget him and get over it.

3) Remeber that you fell for it once so every scammer will presume that you are gullible enough to be scammed so they will try again. And again and again. By now your personal information is valuable commodity and it is sold for money to other scammers for them to try their turn. So be prepared. Think what personal info you gave as they may use mail and phone too even if the original scammer used the email. Also remeber that they may try your family if they have the information.

4) If you want to try baiting then read all the stickies and FAQs. Specialy the one about safe baiting. Basicaly: Do not use your real information!

5) If you lost only 500 and you realised it youself then you can consider youself lucky. You got away easily.

6) As i said in point 3) that it is likely that scammers are going to try again. That includes those attempts where they offer their services for recovering the money lost or maybe tell you that their goverment is paying a compensation for scam victims. Don't be tempted. It is just an annother scam.

In the meantime, I am going to edit some of your original post as the details you have provided are likely to be those of other victims of this scammer

I'm sorry, but at least you already found out at 500$.

a very important point of lekas list is point 6. they will try to recover you. there are the obvious cases where ban ki moon, head of the UN directly contacts you and tries to help, and the less obvious ones where the manager of a nigerian anti fraud department contacts you, and offers compensation.

that is scam aswell. they just try to sqeeze money out of you. please be extra careful.

I have not called this scammer out yet. I figure I will just ignore and let the email keep coming. I wont answer or call this person out so the information might be used again. The last email I got was asking for 150 for the Ramadan coming up in a week. Thank you for that other site. It took me 2 hrs to find this site.

Delete it and don't respond. The lawyer is fake - real ones don't use Yahoo email addresses and mobile phones for contact.

You will not get back the money you lost and if you keep replying, they will carry on with different approaches to try and scam you.

Laserpaper, please, as another former scam victim, I highly suggest you spend your time on scamwarners and post the details of your scam. You can benefit others there because they will see the details and avoid being scammed like you.
I also suggest you stand back and don't involve yourself in baiting yet. It takes time to heal and understand what has happened to you. Spend some time reading through some of the other posts on scamwarners. If, after you give yourself some time to heal and understand, you still feel compelled to bait, we are here to guide your path to doing so safely.

You don't need a lawyer to get a passport, renew a passport, or get a visa. Travel agents don't handle any of these, or work permits either. Job scammers often tell their victims that they have to apply to a certain lawyer or travel agent (who is another character played by the scammer) to get a visa or work permit.

You are not kidding. It is not enough them attacking my emotions. They are hitting me hard with emails and phone calls from people around the world. I think I just need to unplug the internet and I might have to change my phone number if this keeps up. Even had some weird letter in the mail with a homeland security stamp on it.

^^^ If you think it will help you, change your email and phone number so they can no longer harass you. It might be worth the inconvenience of telling friends, family and companies you do business with your new contact details so you can heal without these idiots coming at you with more scams.

Your phone provider may be able to block incoming calls from unrecognized/unauthorized numbers. It's worth a call.

You have my condolences on your problems. These guys are like sharks with blood in the water. A friend of mine's sister was scammed out of 300$ in a romance scam, it really hurt her as she was very emotionally invested, I suggested scamwarners. Seeing the real pain inflicted by these parasites is part of the reason I found my way to this site. Something that may help with the healing posses is going to eaters grateist hits and watch as people like the one who took advantage of your feelings get taken in turn, after all one turnabout deserves fair play.

I think you better quit all contacts with those as-os.Also , you should also stop updating eater about what they write or tell you-eater has no interest because you will just be availing yourself to be scammed again.You either act now or else they turn you from laserpaper to digitalpaper.
