Hi there...Been playing with a guy for a month or so since I discovered he was a scammer. Met at Match.com...wanted to get off their system and communicate via text and email. Didn't think much of it until he started whining about money, so I started doing a little research. I joined here because I have become successful as he gave me banking info that is valid. And, not sure what to do with the info.

I am at the point now where I could use some professional help with this...and I am also beginning to find a sick pleasure in screwing him over:)

Feed back would be greatly appreciated.

I have other emails that show a Nigerian IP address although he claims to be in the Netherlands. Most emails show Sunnyvale CA I would assume due to Yahoo servers. I think he gets sloppy and forgets to mask his IP.

Thanks for posting the headers. I edited out your email address and the name you're using-this part of the forum is not under log=in and lads have been known to use google search. Since your lad is using Yahoo, it may be possible to find his original IP-you can use the tools at the top of the page-just click "Track IP Address".

Give the stickies a read-they have a lot of good information about getting your baits up and running and how to stay safe. BRUIN's comment is on the money-if your Match profile had any of your RL info, including your pic, your scammer does have your RL info. Just drop him-there's plenty more where he came from.

Also think about applying for a mentor-if love baiting is your interest, they can give you pointers about the how's and whys of baiting.

Welcome to the forum! It sounds like you just might enjoy romance baiting!

The advice given was right on spot. Drop him if any of your RL info is on there. I set up a dummy gmail account (I actually have several - one for each of my characters) and use that to contact them.

Definitely sign up for a mentor and take time to read some of the past baits here. They'll give you lots of hints on how to handle these charlies...and to drive them nuts! Twisted Evil
