so i've had three baits so far my first by far being my favorite as it took about a month and ended with a nice being placed on me lol.. but these last two it seems after about 3 days they spring the money question on me one has said God would judge me and the other acted hurt that i faked the mtcn.. my question is is the normal amount of time that they try to hit you up? i would like to drag these things out further. i have at least two others that have contacted me and i'm ready to waste some serious time here |

When they ask me for money after a short period of time, I write:
"What? You're asking me for money? We've known each other x amount of days and you're hitting me up? Are you here for love or my money?"
Sometimes they'll test you to see if you can be a potential victim, they'll ask for a small amount of money for "food stuffs" or "medication for my mom". They just want to see your reaction and don't want to waste time on someone who will never send them money. |

I found the lads on match.com (who had to pay for their profiles) take their time and typically ask after a month or maybe two. They seem to have better English skills as well, and I suspect they think they will get a bigger payout in the end if they bide their time.
Free dating site lads tend to ask quicker, and go for smaller amounts at first in my experience.
Your mileage may vary. However I do seem to recall a recent thread about how quickly they are asking for money these days...
My recent favorite was a lad who asked on the third or fourth email, and all of his messages were one-liners. I sent about 6 fake MTCNs before he dropped me. |

HI Marvin. I actually like it when they ask for money sooner rather than later. I act like it is totally normal, hoping it will lead to lad de-education. i would hope a potential victim would question a lad who asks for money very quickly and if I don't flinch, he thinks it will work well in the long run. And by work well I mean keeping the victims away |
