For the ones who have read my first post, I'm talking about the government acreditaded dealer from ghana.

I've sen't him an email for a baiting email introducing myself as a retired doctor with a winnery.

Me:
Dear Sirs:

I'm not sure if your email is directed to me, this is my personal email, and it is not for a firm, I'm just a retired medicin who produces wines.

Him:
Dear CdM,

I introduce our company as government accredited commission agency registered with the Procurement Commission and Ghana Tender Board to initiate contacts with companies/persons overseas for the supply of government needs.

Over the years, many firms have gotten contracts from our government through my company efforts. So will appreciate if your firm will be able to supply most of the items.

It might interest you to know that this tender is in line with the Procurement Authority procedures specified in the Guidelines of the Public Procurement act 2014, of the Republic of Ghana.

I advice that you should go through the tender details below and get back to me if you can handle the supply of any of the required products and on time as the board is under obligation to take delivery by the period specified by the presidency.

And what do you need exactly?

You are looking for Red, White, Rosé?

Him:
Red and White Wines.

Me:
I don't know if I have the quantities that you need, For this year prodution I count to have:

2500lt of red wine
5000lt of white wine

Do you want it in bottles or in vat (inox tank of 500 lts), it will be sheaper.

Him:
Let me know the prices.

Me:
The problem is that I'm not used to export so I don't know the prices for the transport...

I stel keep him busy, one point after other not giving what he want but I'm geting without ideas...

ask him if he is interested in a trade. Some of the fine crafts from his country for a few litres of wine, just to test this across the world business.
From then on, you can ask for anything, pictures first of course, hassle a good price and then find out who sends his goods first. Yours will never arrive as the bottles broke and the postal service send you back the damaged goods and a huge bill. Up to you to tell him that after he is done waiting a long time. Use a safe dropbox and you might get to see something, it's ofcourse useless to you as you will tell him.

Once I've tell him that I'm a wine producer, I think I can tell him that I'm interested in Ghana's cocoa... see if he can get me that of government control to be sheapper.
