This Lad Just Screwed With The Wrong Person

Greetings to all

I've been on 419 eater reading a lot of material and joined one of those dating sites looking for a legit date. Instead I get a lad and a bunch of red flags went up that this is a scam.

1) Claims she lives in Idaho but distance is not important
2) When I told her I wanted to meet in person she said she is in Ghana
3) Sad lad story her husband died working in the mines she needs to get sick son home to the states, but she will meet me when she gets here
4) See point #3 At some point I know this lad will ask me for money
5) In an attempt to throw me off the lad insisted she was real and invited me to a live yahoo messenger web chat, I looked at her but strangely she had no working mic. I then read and learned about stolen pre recorded web vids.

I've never scam baited any lad before but now its personal. Please advise me of any tips or if any of you would like to join in against this lad. Idea

First things first: if you met this lad while looking for a legit date, does the lad have any information that could be linked to your real life identity? Because if that's the case, the only advice is to drop him. Safety always comes first around here.

So far the lad only has my first name, the scammer does know what I look like though but my goal is to respond to his message as someone else and under a new email account. Let me know.

Lads email so many people that I just need to respond under a new email. How would the lad know which person played them. The lad would have to be scamming others at the same time so wouldn't I just need to create a fake name new email and pretend I'm responding as a new victim already half way in, I can make it up as I go along.

Hi ScamThis,

If you respond from a totally new address with a different name and none of your real life details, you should be reasonably safe. It's not the greatest idea to "get even" with this particular lad-he's literally got dozens of scammails out there. Waste his time, maybe get a bank account closed, that's definitely worth doing!
