Image

I came across this beauty on Cupid, whose profile said she was living in Paris and that she was born in Zimbabwe. I did a search on the image to a photo with the name and phone number of a photographer in South Africa. 'She' features her email address - [email protected] - on flirty9, which saved me the hassle of having to approach her on the site.

Her profile on the sites says she lives in Senegal, and I recognised the name as being the same as the late Zimbabwean Minister of Defence Edgar Tekere - yes, she's one of the many dollybirds in that refugee camp who are looking for love and ways for you to help her get access to her multimillion dollar inheritance.

I contacted the photographer, who confirmed that the woman in the picture is a good friend of his - if only he could arrange an introduction, but that'll never happen. Crying or Very sad At least the profiles on the dating site and Facebook with her photo have been removed.

Hello Friend,

I tag it as an honor communicating with such a person of yours. How are you doing hope you are taking good care of yourself. Thanks for responding to my message and how is weather over there in your country, hope you are enjoying it or not favorable this time? I am happy to know you and I pray that knowing you will be God's gift to us.

I am Lilian Maidei Tekere 25 years old girl, the only single daughter

How about this one?

of my late Father who was one of the Zimbabwe's main political power brokers who helped found the Zimbabwe African National Union "ZANU" My late father had been a key part of the internal battles over who would succeed President Robert Mugabe in his ZANU-PF party, his death will intensify turmoil in President Robert Mugabe's party over the question of who will succeed the 87-year-old president, my late father happened to be the chief rivals in Zanu-PF to Defense Minister Emmerson Mnangagwa, who is known as "the Crocodile he has competed with Mnangagwa over who will succeed Mugabe.

I grow up in Zimbabwe my country and I was in my first year in the university studying nursing before the ugly incident that killed my parents took place as a result that put me in this horrible place i found myself toady. It was very clear to the youth and the entire member's of my late father's party [MDC] Movement Democratic Change party that my late father sickness started after he was imprisoned by the opposition party leader President Robert Mugabe

A President in opposition? What strange constitutional arrangements you have in Zimbabwe now!

because my late father was against his re-election in the up coming election in my country Zimbabwe.

Kindly take a look at the website where his life time was published.

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/06/10/world/africa/10tekere.html
http://www.zimeye.org/?p=30669

My late father Dr. Edgar Zivanai Tekere was born on 1th April 1937 and died on Tuesday noon, 7th June 2011, at Murambi Clinic, in Mutare, Manicaland. He was 74 years old as a Zimbabwean politician who was a founding member of ZANU PF, and every one knows that the cause of his death was due to his fight of who will succeed President Robert Mugabeue but the opposition carried out the fake news by saying that he died due to his cancer problem.

I will like to know more about you. Your likes and dislikes, your hobbies and what you are doing presently, my hobbies are reading watching music Movies, going to beach with friends visiting a place like zoo and doing every other thing that gives joy and happiness. but now i read much books.

Yes, from which you gain many wisdom

I will tell more about my self in my next mail, and i will like to know more about you before i proceed

Attached here is my picture as i will like to see yours.
Hoping to hear from you soonest.

Your friend,

Lilian

Dear Lilian

Many thanks for your message, and please accept my apologies for not having replied until now. And thank you for telling me about your father. As it happens, I had the pleasure of visiting Zimbabwe nearly twenty years ago, so your story was very poignant, especially as I knew about your father and his role in the Second Chimurenga.*

I love to travel to different countries and experience different cultures, and try new foods. I enjoy reading about history, especially African history, and love to listen to the music of great African artists like Oliver Mtukudzi, Youssou N'Dour and Fela Kuti. My first wife was from Nigeria, but tragically she was killed during a robbery when she was pregnant with our first child. As you can imagine, it was a traumatic experience, and it has affected me so much that I have remained single since 2009.

Yeah, well if they can come up with stories of bereavement and/or betrayal, so can I.

Yet when I saw your photograph, there was something in me that made me want to reach out to you. Maybe it was something about you that reminded me of Toyin, my late wife, but even she was not as adorable as you. I loved the photo of you in that blue dress with that cheeky expression on your face!

Is there any way that we can chat?

Take care

Yours ever in friendship

Kieron

Hello Dearest,

It is my pleasure to hear from you back! How was your day if I may ask? I sincerely hope you are in good health. Thanks for your picture, you are handsome.

Odd this, given that I didn't send her a photo!

I will let you know something about me today: Presently i am residing as a refugee here in Dakar, Senegal under the (UNHCR) as a result of the civil/political war that was fought in my country that take the life of my parents away.

The Zimbabwean civil war? When did that start? Guess they got tired of flogging the Liberian one...

I sincerely want you to know that I am happy and delighted meeting you and I hope that our meeting will open doors of blessing and happiness in our lives.

MORE ABOUT ME: My mothers name was Pamela Tekere and the only wife of my late father. I was in the campus as first year student in the university studying nursing when i got a news that my father has passed away on Tuesday noon, 7th June 2011, at Murambi Clinic, in Mutare, Manicaland meanwhile it was in his funeral that his opposition party members have come up with their escort and lavage the well planned funeral not knowing that my uncle was the one who have made every evil arrangement with his opposition party members.

Some days after my father funeral we inform some of his close party members who we thought that they are working with my father not knowing that my uncle had called meeting on how to divert all my fathers investment. When my mother was calling for help by my fathers party members most of them was asking her to meet them in their hotel rooms not knowing that they have made plan on how to kill my mother and when my mother went to see them for meeting at the hotel where they have their appointment believe me she did not come back from the meeting while the news spread that she died on gun shot from unidentified people meanwhile before then my uncle have asked my mother to hand him over all my father's relevant property document which include his industry called STAR PAPER MILL INDUSTRY in the city where he used to produce papers and toilet tissue.

When the problem is getting worst in my community an old woman close to our house who her late husband was former policeman advised me to run for my life because with the look of things my uncle is ready to wipe away everything that bears my fathers name. With the connection of the woman i came to Senegal with the help of Red Cross with the emergency traveling document which was issued to me by the Red Cross director in my city that allow me to live here as refugee under the United Nation.

I know with you on my side i can start a new life. Could you imagine

Yes I could, though my imagination is clearly not as fertile as that of the scammers

in all of my father's properties the only thing i inherit from my father is the money which he deposited in one of the European banks which he used my name as next of kin. Regarding to these,i was able to successfully come here with the two deposit slip which is with me right now though no one knows the existence of this deposit only the Reverend father who is like a father to me. Please i will drop here as we are working on the church compound before i pleaded with the Reverend father to allow me access my email. Please if you have any question do ask as i will answer your correctly meanwhile i will tell you more of the inheritance after hearing from you and i will plead the man of God to release his personal phone number for me to pass it across to you.

Bye for now as i wait to read your letter,

Lilian.

My dear Lilian

Thank you so much for your email. The account of your escape from Zimbabwe is deeply moving. Of course I will help you! As well as being incredibly beautiful you are also incredibly brave. Please let me know the Reverend father's phone number. If he wishes to contact me in Northern Ireland, he can do so on 004428xxxxxxxx

This was a free VoIP number I got, which was a number in Armagh, which I've since deactivated. If you use a VoIP service like SIPDiscount, you can set it as your Caller ID - you can get one here. I got it to forward to voicemail, which is then sent to email as an audio file. Skype charge you $5 a month for a number.

Yours in Christ

Hello Kieron,

It's delighted my heart whenever i read your mail as i always find stringent on it irrespective of my present situation.

WTF?

I so much appreciate for your willingness and your assistance over the claim of my late father's treasure wealth as all i need from you is trust, honest, sincerity, if you can be able to offer me all these then i assure you that we can build a temple which nothing can destroy. I have noted your phone number and i will like you to call me via the Revered Father phone number listed here.

Really i must tell you that things are very bad for me here in the refugee camp where i am living today. Honestly this place is like a prison as we are only allowed to go out on Mondays and Friday of the week as given by the United Nations camp rules and regulation here in Senegal. I thank God for the Reverend of Christ the King Church (C.K.C) located in the camp where i send and receive emails and his name is Reverend Patrick Dale and he just like a father to me as i became close to him during one of his visitation to the clinic when i was sick.

How close? Reverend Dale was also a father to this young lady from Ivory Coast - or shouldn't that be 'Côte d'Ivoire?'

You can call me in his office with this number +221-778-446-627 so that i can talk with you, when you call please tell him that you want to speak with me so that he can send for me from the females hostel to talk with you. My dear i will like you to help me come over to meet with you in your country for a better life as my health is going down daily here due to the poor condition of the camp where i am living. As i stated in my previous email, before the death of my father on 7th June 2011,he deposited a sum of 2.7 Million Dollars

Is that all?

in leading bank in Europe which my name appears as the next of kin. .

My late father deposited the money and instructed the bank that I can only withdraw the total fund with the help of a trusted foreigner because i can misuse the money due to my immaturity or when i am married who will help me to make the necessary arrangement for the capital investment of the money, but it happen that he died without witnessing my marriage as am still single. Already i have informed the bank about my plans to claim this money but the bank told me to look for a foreign partner who will assist me in the claim due to my refugee status here in Senegal. As a refugee i don't have a direct claim over the money but can only have it through an appointed representative.

Please i will like you to help me in claiming this money so that i can come over to meet with you for a better life. I will like to know your willingness to assist me in this claim so that i can give you the full contact of the bank in Europe for you to contact them for verification and confirmation. I will however i appreciated if you can call me with this telephone number 00221-778-446-627 in the church office located in the refugee camp so that i can tell you more about what i am passing through. When you call, please tell Reverend Patrick Dale that you want to speak with me so that he will send for me from the females hostel to talk with you.

God bless you as you help me out from here.

Your friend,
Lilian.

I decide to get romantic, and send her a love poem.

Subject: A poem for my love

Dear Lilian

I couldn't sleep last night. I can't stop thinking about you. Unfortunately I missed Mass this morning so have had to wear a barbed cilice around my upper left thigh as penitence. As well as helping me in atoning for my failure to perform my religious duty on the Sabbath Day, it also helps me to share your pain, and that of all the torture victims in Zimbabwe. The murder of Toyin in Ibadan was the most traumatic day of my life, especially as I cradled her in my arms for the last time. It made me ask myself how God could be so cruel, but with time I understood that it is His plan for us and we shall be rewarded hundredfold in the Kingdom of Heaven.

I have a good friend from Zimbabwe, Wisdom Chamunorwa, who is a Catholic padre in a missionary position

(ha, ha!)

in Birmingham in England, a city of heathens in dire need of the Word of God. How bitterly ironic that a land which sent missionaries to your country to spread His Word has now rejected it. I confided in him about our love, but at no time did I mention any financial transactions, the contents of which shall remain strictly private and confidential.

After a lengthy telephone conversation last night, Father Wisdom sent me an email, in which he has written a love poem in Shona as a tribute to you.

I got it here

As I don't speak Shona,

and neither do you...

he wrote the English translation underneath.

You see what you inspire in people, even those who have never met you!

Subtle hint

Yours forever

Kieron

PS I have attached a photo of myself.

Ndinozvinzwa mauri, kuti ndaita shamwari
I feel in you, I've made a friend

Wakazviruramisa, wakasimba uye chokwadi...
So graceful, strong and true...

Unenge unoratidza kururama
You seem to show an elegance,

Mune zvose zvaunoita...
In all the things you do...

Unofunga vamwe, une tsitsi, uye uri tsvarakadenga
You're thoughtful, kind and beautiful...

Nyangwe usingazvizivisise ...
Even if not fully aware...

Ndinofarisisa kuti ndangasangana newe
I'm so happy to have met you dear...

Shamwari yangu Lilian agere apo!
My friend Lilian who sits over there!

Dear Mr Fernando

Miss Lilian Tekere kindly gave me your details, having told me about her father's legacy as well as her predicament, as she is in a refugee camp and is anxious to leave and start a new life here with me in Northern Ireland.

Naturally I would be happy to help her in whatever way I can, so I would be grateful if you could enlighten me as to what I have to do with regard to her late father's bank account.

With kind regards

Yours sincerely

Please don't tell the Catholic padre Mr.Wisdom Chamunorwa about me and about the existence of this fund because the world is full of evil

Your forever wife,

As opposed to my temporary virtual one....

Lilian.

Please rest assured that I want this to be concluded as soon as possible. I did actually investigate visas and flights to Senegal, but it's better for you to be safely out of that hell hole of a refugee camp and safe in Northern Ireland with me in my arms.

I look at your photo all the time, and have made it my screensaver, so that I see your cute face. Smile

All my love,

Yours ever

Kieron

Please i will wait for your urgent response regarding this suggestion.

With great pleasure,

Dear Mr Fernando

Thank you for reply, and please accept my apologies for not replying earlier. Unfortunately I do not have a scanner or a digital camera, and as I live in a rural area, I had to travel into Armagh with my passport and go to the public library, where I could avail of one.

However, I have pleasure in attaching a copy of my Irish passport.

Thank you for your patience and understanding in this regard.

Kind regards

Yours sincerely

Kieron Walsh

I forgot to add the passport number in the top right hand corner, but no bother, it didn't arouse suspicions.

My Love,

How are you doing today?. I believe you are doing well. God will bless and reward you for all the effort you are making to see me out from this horrible situation i found myself today due to the death of my parents. I am suffering here in this prison called refugee camp and i believe with you i can start a new life there in your country after the transfer of my money to your position. Thanks for sending your passport copy to the bank. Revered Patrick told me that you called him and inform him that you receive a new mail from the bank which i checked my email now and saw the mail the bank sent to you which they equally copied it CC to me.

Thanks to inform me about the mail you received from the bank and I can see what the bank is demanding before they will transfer my late father's fund to your position. Presently i have my late father Death Certificate and Account Statement with me here which i have given to the lawyer to send to you when you contact him.

The only problem we have now is the Power of Attorney which the bank said that it must be issue by a Senegal resident lawyer here for me to sign my signature on it. I discussed this issue with Reverend Patrick Dale and he gave me the contact of this lawyer!! Barrister Elvis Vienne.

Barrister? Since when has Senegal, a former French colony, been a common law jurisdiction?

He is a lawyer working here with the united nations and i will like you to contact him immediately both his telephone and email telling him that you are my foreign partner that you need his services to prepare a power of attorney that will enable you transfer my 2.7 Million Dollars from TRIODOS BANK OF SCOTLAND to your account on my behalf due to my refugee status. Please call him after sending him an email and ask him to speed up the process of getting the Power of Attorney in your name fast so that before weekend all will be done.

His contact are as follows,
Dr.Barrister Elvis Vienne
Email: address ([email protected])
Tel: +221-704-821-812

Please make sure you send an email to him today and call him as well.

Lilian.

Subject: LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE.

Attention Mr.Kieron Walsh,

Sequel to the demand on how to prepare a Power of Attorney for you and your partner Miss Lilian Maidei Tekere. Your partner Miss Lilian was in my office with the Reverend Father Patrick Dale to discuss about the issuing to you an authorization letter that will enable you stand on her behalf to transfer her late father deposit from TRIODOS BANK OF SPAIN to your account in your country or elsewhere.

Prior to my enquirers from the bank and high court,I understand from the bank that there are three documents required by them before they will transfer the fund to your designed account.

1.A copy of Death Certificate of late Dr Edgar Zivanai Tekere.
2.A copy of his late father's Statement of Account.

It is now remaining one document which is POWER OF ATTORNEY which will enable the Bank to deal with you on behalf of your partner. (This document, Power of Attorney is a legal prove of change of ownership / Heir and must be signed by Miss Lilian Maidei Tekere as the law demanded)

From my inquiries to the Federal High Court,

'Federal High Court?' So Senegal has changed its constitution as well as its legal system....

they chief magistrate made me to understand that it will cost the sum of 2,200 Dollars for authentication of the Power of Attorney at the high court before it becomes valid and 500 Dollars for notary stamping at the notary republic and my legal processing fee of 40 Dollars. Total is 1Vat% of the total amount of 2.7 Million Dollars which the bank will transfer to your designed account.

To speedy the process, you are to send the total sum of (US$ 2,740) to me today through Western Union money transfer system which is the fastest way of sending money to enable my noble law film prepare and validate the Power of Attorney here in the high court and notary republic respectively.

Bellow are my secretary details of which you can use to transfer the said amount.

Receiver Name: Dickson Robert.
Address: No 102 Air Port Road Dakar Senegal 2nd floor
Destination City/Country: Dakar Senegal.

Call me for more information/clarification. Dr Elvis Vienne (Principal Partner)....(ESQ) Note: Do not forget to send me all the relevant transfer details such as Western Union MTCN 10 digte number which will enable my law firm to confirm your payment.

Upon the receipt of the said amount,we will commence the processing immediately without any further hurdles. We once more thank you for your decision to work with our chamber as we assure you the best of our service.

Yours sincerely in service,
Barrister Elvis Vienne,

I toy with the idea of sending 2740 Burundian Francs, which would work out as £1.06, or double that after paying Western Union's fee, but decide against it as it's more than they deserve.

Mhoro! Kwaziwai! Makadi zvenyu?

I picked up a couple of Shona phrases from Padre Wisdom, but please rest assured that I will not tell him anything more about you, and at no time have I mentioned our financial arrangements to him or to anyone else. Maybe once you are hear safe with me you will have the opportunity to meet him and other Zimbabweans living in the UK.

who will be puzzled as to why a black Zimbabwean woman born and raised in Manicaland speaks even less Shona than I do...

Barrister Elvis Vienne has advised me that I need to send the fee of $2740 to him in order to complete the transaction, but I don't have that much money on me and I will need to go to my bank to arrange an overdraft. However I know that you love me and that while this may be a hurdle, it is a small price to pay for happiness.

We were meant to be together.

Yours ever

Kieron

Beloved Kieron,

How are you today? I believe that you are fine, sorry for over stress you encounter yesterday during the scanning of your passport hope to come and chill you up soon with my warmth love and romance .

'Chill you up with warmth?' Is that like hell freezing over?

Thanks once again for your assurance of keeping every secret confidential till I and my fund is under your care. My love i am doing well with all hopes to join you for a better life immediately after the transfer of my money to your account for a better life with you. God will bless and reward you for every effort you are making to help me come out from this prison called refugee camp.

Which doesn't exist....

I went to the lawyer office with Revered Patrick to know if the Power of Attorney is ready so that i can sign it for the bank to transfer my money to your position but the lawyer told us that a total sum of $2740 must be paid as it was required from the Federal High Court and the lawyer said that the money is needed to pay for Government who will stamp, sign and legalize the Power of Attorney before it become valid.

My heart is heavy with fear and worries of what will be your reaction. My sweet heart i know that this money is very big and I understand how bad the economy of your country might be

Not so bad that Irish men are posing as the beautiful daughters of a late government minister, or Irish women, even if they are good-looking - they leave that to Russian and Ukrainians...

but I'm pleading that you should try and help me to send the money to the lawyer as you will get your money immediately after transfer plus 20% of the total sum for your wonderful assistance.

Babe, you're chilling me up with warmth...!Razz

I have been crying since I received your mail and saw what you are passing through with the lawyer, despite the lawyer explain how the money will be use. Based on what the lawyer is saying, honestly i am worried an confused that i don't know what to do and i don't have any other person except you, though I'm happy that this life torture will soon be over but I'm being a bit panic based on the requests of the High Court for the amount of $2740 before they will grant us the letter of administration also from the high court of justice here in Senegal.

A country with a federal constitution and English common law, not to be confused with Nigeria....

I am very much afraid because you know that i don't have the money and i have no way to get it, I want you to listen to me with all your heart,

And love you with all my ears...?

i have never thought of stressing you with the issue of money in this matter but as you can see now we cannot get the money without the documents, despite that i am still in pain, the most important thing for me now is to do everything possible and conclude with the lawyer, so that he will start the process of the document.

I know that it is not going to be easy for you as you will need to go to your bank and arrange overdraft, but remember that we are expecting something greater that is going to make our future more brighter % comfortable,

I don't need to take out an overdraft, even if it were with 'brighter percent [sic!]' interest and if ever I did, it wouldn't be for you....

I want you to know that you are saving a life created by God if you Help me out, I don't know what else to say, but my heart is heavy with fear and worries of what your reaction will be towards this last chance for my freedom.

There's more chance of an atheist believing in God than in Lilian Tekere - you were created by crooks and you will be killed off by them.

Please do me favor by complying with the demand of the High Court as you are aware that it is just this power of attorney that is delaying the transfer of my money to your position. As soon as this is prepared, the bank will transfer my money to your position for me to come over to meet with you for the rest of my life. God bless you as you help me out from this situation I wait to hear good news from you regarding when you will be sending the money to the lawyer.

Your love,

Lilian.

I decide it's time to kill Kieron off, as well as deactivate the phone number, and send the following missive to Lilian posing as his solicitor.

From: "Gráinne Quinn"
To: [email protected]
Subject: Kieron Walsh
Date: Tue, 20 May 2014 22:45:13 +0200

Dear Miss Tekere

I am writing to you with the sad duty of informing you that Kieron Sean Walsh of 9A McCrums Court, Armagh, BT61 7RS, Northern Ireland, was killed in a hit and run accident at 1727 hours local time. Mr Walsh suffered severe brain injuries as a result of the impact and died immediately. The driver of a Scania heavy goods vehicle registration JXI 4190 [jacksey 419 - oh!] has been arrested and charged with manslaughter.

As I was the solicitor of the late Mr Walsh, I am responsible for managing his estate and his last will and testament, and shortly before his death, my client expressed a wish to change the terms of his will and include you as a next of kin, although his legacy would also be divided between you and his debtors. Sadly, owing to my client's sudden death, his last will and testament was not amended to include you as a beneficiary.

I hope that you will forgive me for not informing you by telephone, but given the extemely sad nature of this news, you may find it preferable to receive the news in writing rather than verbally.

Yours sincerely

Miss Gráinne Quinn, LLB
Solicitor

Lilian, however, is in denial....

Hello Dear,

Are you aware of this mail which i receive from the internet hackers?

Lilian.

'Gráinne' writes a further missive to Lilian, telling her that Kieron has actually been unfaithful, and had struck up a correspondence with 'Michele' when he was wooing her. Suddenly, all communication ceases...

Dear Miss Tekere

I appreciate that this is a very distressing time for you, and the last thing I want to is add to your pain. Unfortunately, I have to inform you that Mr Walsh was being unfaithful to you at the time of his death, and sent me an email to that effect.

I just want to let you know that I feel a little bit sad because we can't see or hold each other right now just because of the distance between us. I have so much inside my heart that it keeps me from breathing sometimes. I know we just met but these feelings that I have for you keep glowing and growing every moment. Now that I am with you, I slept thinking about you and early this morning, I woke up smiling. It's amazing how you got me and trapped me. I never thought I could fall this much but I was so wrong. I just thank God for having you. And also believe we are meant for each other and no one can change that. My Dear, I want you to know that I will live anywhere you want us to live and not cause you pain but when we meet, get married first I will carry your baby before you buy a house of our own I want you to promise me this and I want us to do things together tell me things before you do them and I will let you know about my dealings everything. For my job my Dear, things has not been easy with me but am trying to live...
