Hold/call message. Recommended he call his banks to check that there isn't a problem.

A question for the experts here: This lad keeps tagging each new email with a brief one line footer referencing the previous one (see quote above, where the 4798 was the first four in the previous card). Is he just walking down a list and using the emails to keep track of where he's at in the list or what he's provided me? Just curious...

I'd send him a new email each time, with no quote from his earlier one just saying sorry that card was declined for X - with no note of the number. Might cause him a bit more work.
