Hello fellow baiter fellows,
This was my longest-running bait so far (I have read everyone else's so I know 5 months isn't anywhere near a record, but it is a Personal Best) and the only one I have ever bothered to upload. I was hoping to get some photos out of this one but sadly just managed to get some fake forms made for me, 165x e-mails back and forth, some great cussin' and 2x piggies. And hopefully a lot of scammer pain.
Hope you like it!

After rechecking the payment file submitted to my desk by ECOWAS parliament boss Mr. Ike Ekweremadu I found your name among the scam victim compensation list.

HERE ARE SOME DETAILS OF YOUR ATM CARD: - you should not allow third party to gain access to this information's is for your ATM Card safety.

There is a manual paper of the ATM card written in English language it will be delivered along with the card and you find the secret pin number of the card in there.

Dear Mr Henri-Claude Oyima,
Thank you for your reply.
However, as you probably know, the amount we were scammed out of was considerably more than $4,500,000.
Where did the rest of our money go? Will we be reimbursed for the rest of the money at a later date?
I will be meeting with the Church's board of directors tomorrow to let them know that we will be reimbursed for some of the money we lost. I am sure they will be very excited.
Is the fee only $90? That seems very reasonable for $4,500,000. Will we encounter other fees in the future or is this a one-off payment?
Also, I will need to know which MoneyGram Branch you would like me to send the payment to.

How long will the ATM card take to arrive?

I am not sure what the problem is, I can see the receipt clearly at this end. I don't know what you mean by a reference number, but there was another piece of paper that they gave me. I don't know if this is of use to you but I have scanned this in as well. Hopefully the information you require is on this.
What is this figure of $12,500,000 you mention? I was asking about the rest of the Church's money, but as you would know from your records this is still not anywhere near the amount of money we lost.

But since you can see the receipt clearly, there is place on slip written REFFERENCE NUMBER and the numbers are 8digits.That is the number I need from the receipt.
Also, I need you valid phone or office phone number to call you today and also tell me best time to call you.
Good news is that EWAOWAS president yesterday endorsed the payment of $12 million scam victim compensation payment the money that both you and your Church's lost to internet scammers in Africa.
The $4,500.000.00 USD was loaded into an ATM card while the rest will be transferred into any bank account you will provide.

To start with,
#1, you sent it to wrong country Nigeria instead of Benin Republic
#2, you sent it to wrong receiver’s name
#3, due to bold stamp I CANNOT see the first number in the REFFERENCE number therefore the REFERENCE # are incomplete.
SUGESSTION,
GO to money gram office you sent the money from ask them to cancel the transaction and reissue another transaction or better Look for someone that knows how to send out money then copy out this payment information’s and give it to him to assist you.

This is common question which we asked a lot by Australian. Dey tax-free threshold does NOT apply to non-profit organisation with operating budget in excess of $70,000 if the tax-exemption status modality is claimed for the first 15% of capital depreciation. Import duties dey not need be written in the business activity statement during the FIRST operating quarter if the number of non-dependants 10 or more. A lot of people not familiar with Australian banking terms, but I agree with u; anyone who cannot answer simple accounting question of yours must be SCAMMER for sure.

I really feel the Church can help him in his new life, and as soon as he is a member of the Church I have a special financial surprise for him that will certainly help him on his way!
Anyway, I am annoyed that I didn't check my e-mails earlier as it wasn't until I got back from the MoneyGram office that I read in your e-mail that Usman Bello is now in a coma! How terrible, I hope he is ok. I will give him a special mention in this evening's mass. I suppose that since he isn't able to pick it up the payment will still be waiting at the MoneyGram office. I will head on down there to cancel it and get my money back when I go back into town tomorrow. Or maybe the next day.

What an honour it is to receive an e-mail from you! I really appreciate your intervention in this matter, especially since you must have much more important matters of State to deal with.
You are right, Mr David Saleem is an internet scammer, he e-mailed me a full confession earlier this week. Truly these people are the scum of the Earth and God will judge them for their actions when their time is due. However, David Saleem has expressed an interest in joining our congregation which shows that he is willing to mend his ways and recompense those from whom he has taken so much.
Members of our Church are forbidden from dishonesty, so when he becomes a member he can be considered to be completely incapable of deception. I beg of you to spare David Saleem so that he can be anointed with the sacred oil and healed by God's mending light.
I have already sent the money to Usman Bello, however he was involved in some sort of mysterious accident and is now in a coma. I will go to the MoneyGram Office today so I can cancel the payment and send it to Joseph Chikeluo Onyebosi instead.
Once again, thank you for sparing some of your valuable time to deal with what must be a trivial matter for someone in your position. Please consider my request for a Presidential Pardon for David Saleem so our Church can help him as we have helped so many others.

I write to you with the most marvelous news!
Two incredible things happened recently: firstly I was contacted by none other than Thomas Boni Yayi, the President of your country! How exciting! He said that I should put my trust in Henri-Claude, yourself, and Usman Bello, but that David Saleem is not to be trusted. I explained to him that David Saleem wants to join the Church, and begged to pardon him so the Church can help mend his ways, but I have not yet heard back. I will keep you updated.
The second thing that happened is even more astonishing than that! Truly God is amazing, but even He sometimes finds ways to astound us with his capabilities! Yesterday I went into town to go to the MoneyGram office so I could cancel the payment sent to Usman Bello, the poor chap who is in a coma. Imagine my surprise when I asked the lovely girl behind the counter to cancel the payment so I could send it to Joseph Chikeluo Onyebosi, only to be told that the money has already been picked up! At first I thought it was a joke, but she showed me the receipt: at 11:25am Wednesday, Usman Bello collected the $12,600. That’s right! After 2 months in a coma, Usman Bello has not only recovered, but is healthy enough to go to his local MoneyGram office and collect the money for you!
I bet even you didn’t know that your loyal employee is out of a coma, so it gives me great pleasure to share this wondrous news with you! It just goes to show that when you put your faith in God, miracles can happen! Praise be to His glorious name!
Please advise when the Church will receive this ATM card. Will it be a novelty oversized card like the golfers get when they win big tournaments, or regular size? I ask because I have contacted the local paper to write a story about Usman Bello’s miraculous recovery, and a picture of us receiving a giant ATM card would look good with the article.

Just yesterday I learned that a dear friend of mine who has been in a coma for 2 months has miraculously been healed and is once again able to walk around and communicate. Truly God's powers are difficult for mere mortals such as us to comprehend. With regards to telephone communication, I am afraid that will be a bit more difficult. Priests in the Church of the Cardboard Sign are sworn to a vow of silence so do not own any telephones. If you would like to meet me you are more than welcome to come to Australia and see me after a service, but a man in your position probably has no time, what with all your official obligations. That is a prayer to miracle ratio of 1:1, so if it doesn't qualify as a miracle than I don't know what does!
I am a bit concerned about Mr. Jackoff however as there is some confusion at the bank as to which employee actually picked up the money. Mr. Jackoff even mentioned that he employed an internet scammer there, which is a bit strange. I have sent him an e-mail seeking clarification, but I am sure that an organisation as regulated as a bank would have to have very accurate record keeping so I will await his response as to where the money went.

I am shocked and dismayed at the actions of Usman Bello. This is a man who I have been dealing with for some time and to discover he is nothing but terrorist scum is appalling. How did a man like that get a job at your bank? Don't you do background checks on your staff prior to employing them? How come your internet hacker didn't discover his background? When I type "Usman Bello" into Google the first page that comes up is called FraudWatchers"!
I am very concerned about the competency of the staff at your bank and would like my ATM card ASAP before it is stolen or lost or exchanged for magic beans. I have discussed it with the Church's Board of Directors and we have decided that the only way to securely send any money to you is to deliver it in person. I have asked my secretary to book a flight early next week and will advise you what time I will arrive at the airport so you can send a car to pick me up.

I am horrified at the actions of Usman Bello and am very pleased he has been caught so he can face justice. I am however, very concerned about how he was able to get a job at a bank in your country in the first place, when even the most cursory of investigations would have immediately identified his as a fraudster.
I am travelling to the Benin Republic next week to personally hand over a fee to members of the bank to ensure this does not reoccur. In the longer term I would suggest that you launch a full investigation into banking practices in your country, including background checks on all prospective and existing banking personnel; in particular BGFI Bank.
If possible, I would also like Usman Bello to be tortured to a slow and painful death in a graphic fashion for daring to deceive me.

The purpose of my travelling to the Benin Republic is to personally hand the money over to Mr Jackoff. Since Usman Bello has somehow hacked into David Saleem's bank account, it is possible that he or any other scammer could hack into my account, Mr Jackoff's account, Henri-Claude's account, even your account! This entire experience has shown that no information is 100% safe on the internet. Scammers could be reading this very e-mail even as I type it. I have to find another way to get the money to Mr Jackoff. Hopefully he is able to meet me there or we could come to some other arrangement. I will ask Mr Jackoff what he thinks.

Scammers could hack into my account, or even your account. They could be reading this e-mail right now. I am planning on coming down there to meet you if you are available, however, if this is not possible, the Church of the Cardboard Sign does have a few members of our congregation in various banks and financial institutions over there so we could arrange somewhere for you to pick the money up. What I will not be doing is sending sensitive information by e-mail anymore. I have learnt my lesson!
I am still waiting on a response to my earlier question about the ATM card. Is it regular size or like one of those very large oversized cheques they give people that win golf tournaments or lotteries? I hope it is a big one because I am hoping to get an article in the newspaper about our payment and it will look good in the accompanying photo.

With regards to sending the money, I am definately not using MoneyGram anymore, but I will be posting a parcel containing the money to a trusted member of our Church who works in a bank near Mr Jackoff. As soon as Mr Jackoff or Joseph tells her the secret password she will hand the money to him. This way we know for sure the money has been safely delivered.

Instead I am sending the money to a trusted friend who works in a bank over there. Joseph can just walk in to the bank, say a secret phrase and be handed the money in person. If there is any cost involved in the printing the Church would cover this of course.
The Church of the Cardboard Sign has a few members in your country (David Saleem alone has found 12 new members today!) so to avoid our money being stolen again I have sent a package containing the money to one of our members in Lome, which I understand is near Cotonou. She works in a bank, so I am going to instruct Joseph to go into the bank, repeat a secret phrase to her to confirm it is really him, and receive the money. Incidentally, Joseph is not yet a member of our Church as I do not have his completed registration form back yet. Until I get his form he is not a full member of the Church.

I have placed the money in a birthday card as a disguise and sent it in a padded envelope to one of our members who works in a bank near you. The bank is called Ecobank; it is at 20, Avenue Sylvanus Olympio. It should arrive there in a week or so. When she receives the card I will let you know it has arrived and tell you a secret phrase to say to her so she can confirm your identity. I will not tell you the secret phrase yet so there is less chance of hackers pretending to be you so they can collect the money. Pretty clever system, isn't it?

We often transfer funds to your part of the world through her and have had no issues so far. I can assure you that she is 100% honest and trustworthy.
As I have explained to David Saleem already, once someone becomes a member they are entirely trustworthy.
She is a member.
He is not.
You are not.
Joseph is not.
Mr Jackoff is not.
None of you have returned your Registration forms yet.
If she says something it must be true since she has pledged to speak only the truth in joining our Church. This is not some elaborate scam that she is running since we have used her to transfer funds before and they have always arrived. The President of Togo is not a member but we have not had any trouble establishing ourselves in Togo. In fact, we have 47 active members in Togo.
I will not be opening another e-mail account. I have had this e-mail account for a long time and if someone is spying on me then opening another e-mail account will simply give me a false sense of security since they could be spying on the new account also.
The internet is full of untrustworthy people so I have turned to the old-fashioned method we have been using successfully for years.
I will inform Joseph when the money has arrived so he can pick it up.

I urge you to get those forms filled in as soon as you can as my secretary came in specifically to file them today and now she has nothing to do. It does not matter whether BGFI Bank is affiliated with Ecobank or not. It just so happens that this lady works in a bank. If she worked in a library you would be picking the money up from a library. If she was a policewoman you would be picking it up from a Police Station. As it happens, she works in a Bank, so you will be picking it up from a Bank.
Father Jack Hackett told me that it is illegal to send more than $7500 out of Australia without Customs clearance so I need you to keep this transaction quiet. It is fortunate that she works in a bank since there is bound to be lots of money there and an extra $7500 would not arouse any suspicion.

I do have some questions for you first though which I hope you can clear up:
Why does the cheque need to go in a box? Wouldn't it be easier to slip it into an envelope?
When will I receive the information required to send the fifteen dollars?
Could you please send a photograph of yourself holding the cheque? Some of the prospective members of the Church are extremely dubious of me sending money to people they have not heard of. In fact, the President of the Benin Republic himself was calling my good judgement into question earlier today. I am sure that if you send me a picture of yourself holding the cheque whilst standing in front of your big Sign then I can use it to allay any fears in those who feel I am becoming gullible in my old age.

The required amount for you to send to claim your $65million is Fifteen thousand united states dollars.
The money should be send directly to my bank of America account.Which I will provide to you when you are ready to send the $15,000

I would just like to say how sorry I am that you had to read my previous e-mail. I opened up my e-mails this morning and imagine my horror when I realised that I had sent you an e-mail full of drunken ramblings when I got a bit carried away with the communion wine on Saturday afternoon. I am under a lot of stress with a deal worth $80m at the moment that is taking a lot of effort to sort out as the other parties are not co-operating. Sometimes I wish I could reach through the computer screen and slap them. Maybe I tried that on Saturday; it would certainly explain why my monitor and half the contents of my desk were all over the floor.
Last week you did say fifteen dollars; your e-mail said $15.000 which means fifteen point zero zero zero dollars, or fifteen dollars and zero cents. I would consider this a reasonable fee to pay to send a box since I can send a small box here in Australia for $6.95. Even if the box was very large, $15000 is still a lot of money. I mean, I can send a shipping container for less than that and I doubt the box is as big as that.

1, Your $80million in this country
2, Losing all the 18 people that intent to be come a members of our church.
Several times you were told to send the $9,700 to me through money gram to my name but you did what you think was best for you without consulting us therefore you lose your $80 million and also lose members unless you resend another $9,700 by money gram as you were instructed.

Joseph, I am not sure that you know what has happened so far.
Prior to speaking with you I sent a sum of $12,600 via Moneygram to an employee of the bank by the name of Usman Bello. Mr Bello stole the money and almost escaped to Iraq with it. From this experience, two things are immediately apparent:
1. Moneygram is not a safe way to send money since the money was stolen.
2. The bank is run by useless turds since they clearly do not monitor their staff sufficiently.
To counteract this blinding stupidity and dishonesty I have sent, at my own expense, at considerable risk to myself and the Church (since I am breaking the law by sending more than $7500), and at considerable risk to a close personal friend who has no vested interest in this process whatsoever, the exact sum of money you require.
If you are unwilling to do your job of picking money up for the bank then maybe I should suggest to the bank that they should find someone else there who is prepared to actually perform the tasks they are paid to do.
Furthermore, if you are holding to ransom the registration forms of people who genuinely want to join our Church then this reflects very poorly on your character and makes me wonder whether you are the sort of person the Church of the Cardboard Sign is seeking to attract.

Everybody was against you when we found out that you sent the money to another person who is not familiar with us and not only that she live in another country.
Right now I don’t know what to do again and all the 18 new members of the church has not fill the form because president order us not to fill the form just because you sent the money to another person what is not living in this country.
So my advice is that you should try and sort out this problem with me Mr.president now before he prevents you of not receiving your $80million.
Everybody has different understanding and he understood what you did as neglect to his personality. Therefore; to my own opinion, you need to buy him a special gift for his birthday party that is coming us Tuesday next week.
For example buying him a bottle of win which I have inquired the price is $450.00 this will energise him to do the following.
A, Forgive and work with you again.
B, Sponsor of evangelism with his money as he usually does before
C, Give special attention to the transaction
D, Authorise all the entire 18 members to fill their form
This and many other things he will do if you can send the $450.00 for me to use it and buy the wine on your behalf as a birth day president he will cherish it so much.
If you send the money, scan the money gram receipt and attach it to me my email address.
Payment information is listed below,
Receivers name: Joseph Chikelou Onyebosi

I am very excited to receive your e-mail as it has been a long time since I have been to a party in honour of such an important person! I think a bottle of wine as a present is a great idea. I happen to have a bottle here of 1994 vintage "Les Passione de la Poppe" which is very rare in Australia and probably worth around $1200 per bottle. I was saving it for a special occasion but the birthday party of the president of the Benin Republic is just about as special as you can get! What date is the party on? I am sure my invitation will have the date on it but if I know in advance I can make sure I am available and have a costume made if it is a theme party.

Nobody will be allowed to go out of this country to locate that person therefore you have loose that very money and if you fail to resend the same amount of $9,700 to Joseph C Onyebosi as you were instructed you will not receive your $80million from this country.
Mr. President intervened all to make sure that you receive your $80million but you choose to handle everything yourself and now you got the whole thing wrong by sending to another you’re your church member who is not leaving in this country not to talk of been recognize.
So my advice is that you should arrange and resend the money directly to money gram to Joseph Chikelou Onyebosi or else you will loose your $80mmilion

We raised lots of money and stopped lots of people from being hurt. The priest would say "Put the money in the bag and nobody gets hurt". That is the phrase Joseph will say to you. I will tell him to wear jeans, a black t-shirt, dark sunglasses and a hat, so as soon as you see someone who looks like that make sure he comes to your window. How do you think the Church's Board of Directors will react when they hear that I have spent almost five hundred dollars of the Church's donated funds in order to send $150 to someone on the other side of the world just because they don't seem to like Australia Post for some mysterious reason? Dear Pam,
Thank you for taking the time to e-mail me. Unfortunately the problem I am having is that I have the choice of two different ways to get some money to my friends overseas. I have used MoneyGram once before and the money was stolen. So the next time I needed to send some money I just put it in a card and had it delivered by Australia Post. We do that all the time here and have never had any trouble. However, the lady it went to said she was missing $1600 when she got it (she is not very smart so it is possible that she lost it or accidentally smoked it or something). I am also still wary about sending money to people on the internet but I suppose I would consider using MoneyGram to send them money on these three conditions:
1. Please prove your identity by sending me a scan of your ID
2. Please also scan in MoneyGram's 'Certificate of Incorporation' and 'Registration of Business Name' form for our records. When we receive these documents I can enter MoneyGram into our system as a trusted business partner and then I can deal with them.
3. You must be able to offer me your personal guarantee that the money will not be stolen or go missing. If this happens, you must refund the missing funds and send them to me. Then I can forward the money to them by Australia Post.
The Church of the Cardboard Sign can only deal with organisations that meet these conditions so they can become a trusted business partner for the future.
Once again, I thank you for taking the time to contact me.

As per the rest of my e-mail, I think there has been a misunderstanding. I don't want you to send me your actual hard copy of your Certificate of Incorporation; I would just like a copy of it for our records. This is standard procedure here in Australia as I am sure you are aware.
Also the Registration of Business Name: I don't need the actual hard copy which is presumably in a frame on the wall somewhere. I just need a copy of it for our records so we can add your company to our database and utilise your services. We are trying to send some large payments to some business associates in Benin and they want us to use MoneyGram for some reason.
In addition to this, we need you to offer us your personal guarantee that if any money goes missing we will be reimbursed for the full amount. I apologise for these formalities but there are a lot of scumbags in this world and we have to be wary as we have been scammed before.

I have spoken to the Church's Board of Directors this morning and they have said that our organisation is only authorised to do business with organisations which are part of our financial network. This is only possible if we have your Certificate of Incorporation and Registration of Business Name on file here. If we were to conduct transactions with your company without these documents we would be breaking Section 7, Part 3ii of the Australian Taxation Code for Non-Profit Organisations 2009. I copied part of it here for you to read:
All NPOs must provide documented evidence of the existence of each financially-linked organisations for any and all taxable transactions. Such evidence must be in the form of at least three (3) of the following items:
1. Australian Business Number (Australian-based businesses only)
2. Registration of Business Name
3. Photograph of business owner holding customised sign
4. Sample of business owner's DNA
5. Business owner's fingerprints (hard copy only)
6. Certificate of Incorporation
7. Verified Identification Document or Staff Card
Documentation will be audited quarterly and failure to provide sufficient financial records may lead to the NPO being prosecuted and/or compulsorily wound up as an organisation at the recommendation of an authorised representative of the Australian Taxation Office.
We do have your ID Card for our documentation which is acceptable, but without two other things from the list (usually the Registration of Business Name and Certificate of Incorporation, although as you can see there are other options) we risk prosecution or even being shut down. Unless you are able to provide us with sufficient proof we are risking the future of our organisation. I can use Australia Post or the transfer service my secretary uses in the meantime but unfortunately without this documentation I am simply not allowed to use MoneyGram. Thank you for your understanding.

Hi Pamela,
Thank you for your e-mail and the attached Certificate of Incorporation. I successfully downloaded and printed it out and showed it to the Church's Board of Directors who said that the document was satisfactory. Since you have sent the certificate and your ID card, which the Board of Directors have accepted also, you just need to send one more item from the verification list in the earlier e-mail I sent you. I have copied the text again for your information. As you can see, one more item is required; this can be item 2, 3, 4 or 5.
All NPOs must provide documented evidence of the existence of each financially-linked organisations for any and all taxable transactions. Such evidence must be in the form of at least three (3) of the following items:

7. Verified Identification Document or Staff Card Received and Accepted
Documentation will be audited quarterly and failure to provide sufficient financial records may lead to the NPO being prosecuted and/or compulsorily wound up as an organisation at the recommendation of an authorised representative of the Australian Taxation Office.
Thank you for your assistance.

Thank goodness you are still available; Amanda is causing me much frustration with her incompetence. The Certificate of Legality went from $5000 to $5150 while the Official Stamping Fee went from $150 to $1400, all with no explanation. There are only two reasons why fees would suddenly go up: because she is somehow stealing from me or you (which would explain why she didn't want to send me an invoice at first) or because she is so useless that she can't do her job properly.
Either way, I suggest that we need to find a new person to handle this transaction.

Stop! blaming Amanda for the mistake, On October 9, 2013 Amanda came to supreme court to inquire the exact amount for the stamping but due to that fact that I was ill and absent on that day the person she asked the question was a police officer that works in supreme court police department who has no knowledge about stamping of certificates.
Secondly, I went together with Amanda to IMF office in Cotonou, yesterday afternoon to confirm the exact cost of the certificate and the IMF representative confirmed that the amount is $5,150.00 then I asked the man why the sudden addition of $150.00 ,he said the $150.00 it so cover currency fluctuation between dollars and West African CFA franc (XOF) .
Father Chuck, under my intelligent as barrister I have monitored Amanda right from the first day I knew her she loves everything about God and the reason I am in support of your to continue working with her is because I also know her uncle and very well.
Since the exact amount has been known, I advise you to do the best you can to send the last $6550.00 then the certificate will be secured and we will stamp it and approve your $80million funds.

As for the $150.00 addition it is to cover the currency fluctuation between dollars and our local currency. I am not forcing you to believe me but only God and barrister Dossou are my witness.
One thing I know is without you sending the $6,550 via money there is absolutely no chance of receiving your $80 million but if you can send $6,550 I swear you will receive your $80 million.

Thank you.

Ok, since you decided not to scan and send the money gram slip there is nothing else I will but one thing I know is that Father Chuck is a beneficiary of $80 million, the aforementioned amount is in ATM card.
If you agree with my terms and conditionsby scan and sending the money gram slip for me to secure the required document from court.
I will then deactivate Father Chuck ATM card and then you will forward me your address and also tell me the medium you want to receive your own $40million. Bank to bank wire transfer, ATM card payment or delivering the funds to you as a consignment box?
You do not have to release father Chuck, unless you receive your $40million but if I fail to keep my words kill him and his blood will be on my own head.

Dear Amanda,
The MoneyGram slip is attached. Unfortunately it was slightly damaged when we picked Chucky up; he puts up quite a fight for an old fellow. You will mail the ATM card in a plain envelope to this address:
66 Sinister Rd
Dark Forest
NSW 2838
Australia
Unless I receive an e-mail tomorrow morning with a tracking number, your old mate Chucky here will lose a finger. If you contact the police he will lose a lot more.
Act Quickly.

My Dear Amanda Hargenkiss,
Perhaps you remember me from all those years ago It seems like only yesterday we were sneaking away to the choir stalls after the Sunday service for a bit of extra-marital mischief, if you know what I mean . I hope you are ok these days and bear no hard feelings towards me. If you had knocked before entering my office we could have warned you not to open the door and the whole misunderstanding need never had occurred. Anyway, no hard feelings from this end. Well, almost none, if you know what I mean
The Church has asked me to fill in for Father Chuck until he is fit enough to get back to work, as it were. I found your e-mail address and also the e-mail address of someone called David Saleem written on Father Chuck's desk blotter. I sent David Saleem an e-mail and now I am sending you one so that I can figure out what monies Father Chuck was trying to send and to whom he was trying to send them, as it were. Please do forward me any such details of any claims you were entering into with Father Chuck as he is heavily sedated and I have not been able to get any sense out of him whatsoever. Also, if you know anyone else who Father Chuck was trying to send money to, please let me know as we don't want Father Chuck coming back to a lot of paperwork, as it were. In fact, I don't want Father Chuck coming back at all as he has a very nice office and a charming secretary, if you know what I mean

Dear Mr Jackoff,
You probably haven't heard but I am stuck in hospital due to a failed kidnap attempt that quite seriously injured me. The short version of the story is that I was on my way to transfer some money to Amanda using that MoneyGram service she is so fond of, when I was kidnapped and held for ransom. Amanda refused to send them the money for some reason and as a result I was tortured and almost killed. I was also hit by a car whilst escaping. I will be in hospital for a while, but the Church has appointed an administrator to take care of my duties.
In the meantime I am very bored in this hospital bed so I am doing what I can to help this situation along. $25000 sounds very reasonable to design, build and install an ATM. Could you please ask the manufacturer for some detailed drawings of the machine as I am hoping to have some input into it's design and colour scheme.
Thank you.

Secondly, I have just been told that Father Chuck has recovered sufficiently that he has been discharged from hospital and will be back at work tomorrow! His recovery has been so fast; his doctor was amazed and described it as a true Christmas miracle!
I am no longer required in this role so will be leaving immediately to take a well-deserved Christmas break at my holiday chalet at the famous ski fields at Alice Springs. After that I think I will do some ice-skating at Coober Pedy and if I have time I will visit the Royal Palace at Gunnedah. I have left all the documentation including our e-mail exchanges and MoneyGram paperwork in a folder for Father Chuck to pick up where I left off.

David Saleem was asking the same question yesterday so that he could pick it up for you so you may have the money already. You guys must be pretty disorganised there if you don't even know what your own secretary is doing!

There is no way David Saleem would steal the money. He is a member of the Church of the Cardboard Sign so I would trust him with my life. If you think the money has been stolen I think the most likely explanation is that the money has been stolen by someonepretending to be David Saleem. This is why I wanted to put the money in a bank account or just mail the money to you. It is so frustrating that our legitimate business transaction has been thwarted by a criminal genius.
Don't worry, I have a plan to get our money back.

Hi Pamela,
I am afraid I have some very bad news for you. I recently tried to send some money to my good friend Amanda Hargenkiss, however the payment was intercepted by someone pretending to be a trusted Church member, David Saleem.
This reflects very poorly on the security your service provides your customers and I trust you will launch an investigation to figure out what went wrong and how you can prevent this from happening again.
I refer to your previous e-mail of October 10 where you assured me that any money lost during the transfer process would be refunded in full to the sender. In case you have forgotten I have found it in the e-mail chain and pasted it below.
I Pamela H. Patsley is swearing today 10th October 2013 that any money correctly sent to John Nwaobodo Ikem through our service by you or any member of Church of the Cardboard Sign can only be picked up by John Nwaobodo Ikem and if money goes missing for any reason I Pamela H. Patsley will be hold responsible and I personally shall reimburse it to you same day I receive report from you.
It is such a relief to me and Amanda Hargenkiss that you are prepared to refund our money, otherwise it could be lost forever. Could you please place the money in an envelope and send it to:
"Father Chuck Magutsup
c/o Church of the Cardboard Sign
Far Kernell
NSW
Australia"
Thank you for your assistance. I don't plan on using your service again since it has failed us on multiple occasions but I do look forward to an explanation of what went wrong and how you plan to prevent this from happening in the future which may make me change my mind.

Then we asked you for another account but you didn't give us one. Could you please give us the details of another account to use? We are not calling you a fraud but we do not want the bank to think we are engaging in suspicious practices. I am sure you understand. Also, we are glad to be accepting you back but of course you will need to perform the Christening Ritual again before your membership is reinstated. It has been a while since you were originally Christened but I assure you that the process has not changed.

I do not know why the bank thinks the account is being used fraudulently. All I know is that when an account is red-flagged we are not allowed to use it anymore in case the Church is linked to fraudulent behaviour. I'm not suggesting you are a fraud, just letting you kow why the Church has put these measures in place. Don't worry, I have sent an e-mail to Pam Patsley, the CEO of Moneygram, to get our money refunded. She hasn't replied yet, but I am sure she is just very busy.
Anyway, on a more important topic, I have spoken to the Church Elders and they are ready for the Christening process to begin. I know that when you were Christened years ago the reimbursement was $8700 but this has now risen to $10250 in line with inflation. This should quite easily cover any costs you will incur and leaves enough funds for you to help fund your spiritual journey. Although you may remember your Christening well, I have cut and pasted a section of our Christening Ritual booklet below:
The Church of the Cardboard sign appreciates that there will be some cost involved in local travel and purchase of the anointing oil. For this reason the Church will immediately pay each member a sum of $10250 upon the successful completion of their Christening Ritual. It is expected that each member will spend any remaining money by going on a Holy Pilgrimage but this is not required. If the Ritual is performed in a public place (such as a shopping area), an additional sum of up to $4300 may be claimed which will go towards cleaning costs following the Ritual.
Step 1 of 3: Visit your local mechanic and purchase 5 Litres of used motor oil. This will be used for the anointing. Do not use new oil as this is more expensive and does not have the dark colour of used oil which is similar to the dark colour of the crude oil on which our Church’s fortunes are based.
Let me know when you have purchased the anointing oil and I will remind you of what to do next. Nothing has changed since your last Christening but I would prefer to walk you through it rather than have you rush in and get something wrong.
No other purchases are required and the entire process should take less than 3 minutes.
Looking forward to welcoming you back to the flock!

Excellent, the Church Elders are very excited to be welcoming you back soon and I have put the financial department on notice to authorise the payment to you.
The final step is also very easy. You need to say a prayer and then Christen yourself and get a friend to take some photos. Easy.
I have again pasted a section of our Christening Ritual booklet below:
Say the Secret Prayer three times:
" Cardboardians all let us rejoice, for we are young and free.
With golden soil, and wealth for oil, our Church is girt by oil.
Our Church abounds in nature’s gift, with oil rich and rare,
in history’s page let every stage, advance the Church of the Cardboard Sign.
In joyful strains then let us sing, advance the Church of the Cardboard Sign.
Amen."
Remove your shirt and your pants/dress. Women may remove their bra if they wish. Underpants must be left on at all times. A friend is to take a photograph of you which shows your entire body. This photograph represents the old, unclean version of yourself.
Baptise yourself with the oil. This involves pouring all of the oil over your head and ensuring every part of your body is completely covered. This is very important. Evil lurks everywhere so it is critical that every single part of your body is completely covered in the cleansing goodness of the oil. A second photograph is to be taken during the pouring process to prove that it has been done correctly. Rub the oil around to make sure everywhere is covered.
Say the prayer again, three times. Immediately you will feel cleansed, as if a great weight has been lifted from your shoulders. You are now a full member of the Church of the Cardboard Sign. Get your friend to take a third photograph of the new, purified version of yourself.
E-mail the 3 photographs to either myself or Father Jack Hackett. There must be 3 photographs and they must be clear and show the process in detail. You may take more than 3 photographs if you wish. This is your proof that you have completed the Christening Ritual and we can then immediately send you the reimbursement for the costs incurred. If you encountered any additional costs please let us know as we will be happy to cover them as well. Please do not try to fool us. We have been doing this a long time and know exactly what 5 litres of used motor oil looks like. Some people have tried to use a drum of molasses which they happened to have with them at the time; they were ineligible for the reimbursement and all they managed to do was waste a drum of molasses! If you have any questions, feel free to ask us; it is better that you know exactly what to do before you begin instead of rushing in and doing it wrong.

I already sent the $6,550. The money was apparently collected by someone pretending to be David Saleem. Now I have e-mailed Pam Patsley, the CEO of Moneygram because she offered me her personal guarantee that if any money went missing she would reimburse us. I am still waiting on her to sort out the modalities on her end, but in the meantime I guess we are both waiting on her for the money. The money I am sending you is the $10,250 Christening fund, as soon as you complete the ritual. I am glad to hear that you have purchased the anointing oil already as it proves that you are serious. Don't forget to keep a tally of your expenses so C.O.C.S (Church Of the Cardboard Sign) can reimburse you. Don't throw away the receipt for the oil or any receipts for the purchase of the camera, film, batteries, etc.

Unfortunately it is against the Church's position to offer money to people before they are full members; we don't want random strangers asking us for money and then disappearing! For that reason, we only pay the costs of people who have become members and can therefore be trusted.
I recall that once we compensated a new member an amount of $16375 because he was living in Siberia and needed to pay that amount to fly somewhere warmer because the oil was too frozen to Christen himself with!
You do not need an expensive camera; a mobile phone camera is fine. We are not looking for spectacular quality- just proof that the ritual has been done correctly.

I think perhaps you are nervous about taking a photograph of yourself because you are no longer the sweet young girl I once knew (but clearly you still have the attitude). I can assure you that due to my age I cannot remember at all what you looked like sadly. All I remember was that you were a young girl with dark skin, so I assure you that I will not be disappointed by your appearance in the photographs.
Even given your firey attitude, this e-mail still does seem very rude. Have you been hacked again?

I was worried that I would spend the money on myself, and I guess my fears were justified because yesterday I spent the money on a bottle of 1962 vin de la escroc en colere! It's a bit disappointing that I couldn't send the money to you, but I will be thinking of you when I enjoy the wine with a nice plate of spaghetti bolognaise this evening.
If you are ever tempted to join the Church of the Cardboard Sign again, please let me know and I will restart the process.
Alternatively, if you decide not to join us, please let me know how much you spent on the used motor oil and the Church will be happy to reimburse you as a sign of good faith.

Very funny news indeed. I was very much looking forward to enjoying the lovely bottle of wine I purchased yesterday, when I tripped over and dropped it on the stairs up to my house. Hahahaha! Luckily the garlic bread was ok, but the wine bottle was completely smashed. I guess it's a shame that over $10000 worth of wine was wasted, but at least the $80m should cover it.
Now I guess I will have to go down to Woolworth's and just get a $35 bottle of vodka instead. What a laugh!

The only slight disappointment was that I was looking forward to the completed Church of the C4rdb0ard 5ign membership forms. But what can I say? It takes a special type of skill to achieve bating results like this. Awesome. Thank you. |
