What is the strangest, goofiest, most off-the-wall character/back-story you have used in a bait? My personal favorite is the blind deaf mute. I never do explain to the lads how exactly it is that I'm able to "read" their emails. Strangely, they haven't thought to ask. |

That's easy - the goofiest character I ever used for baiting was probably Jor-El of planet Krypton. Strangely enough, a lot of lads seems to accept me being stranded at the Asteroid Belt while fixing the ships engine... however, they don't seem to understand that there is no WU to be found for several parsecs.  |

I suppose it's not all that goofy, but I invented a law firm that includes Marty McSorley (if you're a hockey fan, that's a name you'll recognize) with a couple of partners, "McSorley, Lemieux & Hull".
The only reason it gets goofy is that, if the lad gets belligerent, I can send a YouTube video of Marty pounding the snot out of someone in a hockey fight and threaten to give them a visit! |
