I have been more than impressed since I stumbled across this site a few days ago at the skill with which many of you handle and care for your "pets". I am especially impressed at those who look after their need for exercise and adventure by helping them see other places and countries (there is true skill in that which I think will take me a while to master). I really did not know that the baiting of these lowlifes was so widespread & it is nice to know that there are a lot of people causing them grief, misery, confusion ect and having a fair bit of fun doing it. My hat is off to you all!!
I look forward to being able to share some good baiting stories in the future as I develop my skills and see what i can get away with at their expense!

Welcome to the board! The applicable "Care and feeding of pets" beginner guides can be found here http://forum.419eater.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=237675.

When you are ready you can apply for the mentor program (Link in my sig line).

If you haven't already, create a character or two with bios and emails to go with them. If you feel like it find something in the Surplus section that looks appealing and go for it. You can't screw it up and it helps to find your character and comfort.

Happy Hunting

Many thanks for the link, it will really help a lot. I've already started working on creating a few legends to go with my baiting e-mail accounts although I have to flesh them out a bit more before I start using them.
After years of dealing with frying the heads of telemarketers/telesales, cold callers and door step bible bashers I have a feeling that baiting will provide me with a great deal of entertainment while offering future pets nothing but a rolled up copy of the "daily eater" across the nose from time to time in order to guide them down the path they so richly deserve.
After reading some of the baits that have been posted I am honestly surprised that lads seem to be a bit on the dim side, I thought that as they were conmen they would be a little brighter than they appear to be!

^ And you would be correct. The ones that get posted on Eater are the ones who are dimmer than the average. And this is because it's a self-selecting group. Many baiters go through hundreds of lads who drop them or refuse to do anything funny, before stumbling on one particularly stupid lad who has entertainment value.

To put Pastor Frank's comment in context he meant Canadian.

I have a feeling this hobby will become more and more addictive as time goes on and I learn how to keep my pets on the hook for increasing lengths of time!!
