Hi, I'm new here. I have recently been checking out some of the scambaits on this site, and I was both amused and inspired. So I here I am now, looking to make some poor Nigerian scammers suffer Twisted Evil

I've dumped by catcher email all over the web, and already I have 6 emails in my junk folder, a majority of them being "help me transfer my money out of my country", and in a few days, I hope to post my work here!

Just joined up so I could see what the good folks here are up to. I post my baits on another site. Still learning, but I have about 6 months of baiting experience. I am constantly amazed and amused by what scammers will say and do!

I did not know of your group until I was scammed on Craigslist a couple weeks ago. He or she did get my cell phone number and address, but I got a bad check for $1300 overnighted ups so atleast they were out some pocket change. Waiting for my trainer to contact me and just a hour ago a scammer has offered me free gold samples....this should be fun.

@ClamDigger, if you are looking to get in on CL scams try listing non-existent things with outrageous prices. The Nauga hides are abundant in many areas, square roots should be coming into season, rooster eggs (the square ones), bulls milk. Those are all good sellers.

I am thinking you want it unattractive. 10 undressed naugas per box for 350. Something along that line. You don't want real people. Most scammers won't have a clue, nor would they care, what you are selling, they are looking at how to bilk you of the excess charge for shipping. It is a quick and dirty scam. Others in here know more about that stuff than I do.

I've spent several evenings reading various posts and don't remember the last time I laughed so much! The threads about the funniest subjects and funniest lad names are hilarious.

I'm in awe of you all. The level of sophistication in the art is impressive. I have much to learn!

People of the previous generation remember where they were when they heard that President Kennedy had been shot. People of my generation remember where they were when they heard about 9/11. Well I remember exactly when I saw my very first e-mail scam. That was at the office one morning of 1999. I was skeptical about the strange e-mail yet many people were e-naive in those days. I showed it to my colleague Ingrid who thought it was genuine.

I have never fallen for a scam but I have been robbed or burglarized 4 times. I have no sympathy for bandits whoever and wherever they are. So I am willing to work hard and become a good baiter! Smile

Just dropping in to register my noobosity. I've followed this stuff for a little while and I think its time to contribute. a couple of older relatives have been scammed by the phone call "This is microsoft here, we're calling because you have a virus..." which makes me SOOO MADDD. Grrrrr. Ah well...

I've received a couple of those "OMG, I'm stuck in the Phillipines, plz send money..." and I decided to hook & reel one in. Its live at the moment, which is a bit of a thrill ride for me but probably run-of-the-mill for most of you here. I'd appreciate some help though. Yes, I'm trying to tread carefully regarding real identities/emails/anything.

A bit of mentoring would be good.
