I feel it would be useful if there were a list of flextel numbers which had prerecord messages that could be useful to any bait. By having messages recorded by different people, the scammer would think he is dialing different phones. For example

1) Tell scammer he has to dial phone xyz to get the digits of his MTCN. When he gets there, he only gets one digit for security reasons. Then he has to phone 16 (?) numbers to get hit MTCN.

So each Flextel number has a mesage with one digit of an MTCN

2) A number of flextel numbers are configured to say "Sorry, I don't accept calls from people withholding their number". One could then send the scammer to various numbers, all of which refuse to take his call.

3) Other messages might be just have comments like "I'm sorry, I can't take your call just now, but leave a message after the tone and I'll get back to you."

4) Other could be "Hello, is there anyone there? Hello, can you hear me? Sorry, I can't hear you, speak louder. I can't hear anything, it must be a bad line.

I'm in a position of sending my scammer to lots of numbers, all of whom block his call as he withholds the number.

Even if a scammer found a list of such numbers, he would never know he is being messed around, as we would not give him those numbers, but only redirect one of our numbers to that number.

Anyone think it would be useful? Anyone want to share their numbers and a description of what it says? It might be useful to know the sex of the person speaking too.

It is an interesting concept, and wouldn't it be great if Lads would waste their time and money calling all of the numbers...? In my own experience, they tend to be so lazy and suspicious that I don't think I could persuade any to do this.
