Love her or hate her, she changed the UK and her influence will be felt for generations both at home and abroad.

Please try not to get too political. Yes, difficult to do considering who she was, but let's not turn this into a "them against us".

Definitely one of the major figures in British history; she had principles and conviction and whatever one's politics, she deserves respect.

Love her or hate her,

she did the right thing sending in the troops during the Falkland Crises.

For that, it is the only time I have ever voted in a General Election

However one felt about her policies, almost everyone agreed that she had a formidable and towering intellect. That made her descent into dementia that much sadder.

She was formidable and inspiring, even to yours truly as a young girl over The Pond. She brooked no fools. RIP Mrs. Thatcher.
