A. I shall give you a 'Death Declaration Certificate & a Claim Letter' which you shall forward to the bank authorities here in Africa. It is with the death declaration certificate & claim letter shall an official claim of Inheritance be put and achieved over the account holding the US$10.5M.

B. You shall provide a bank account as to where the US$10.5M will be transferred to. You can open up a new bank account for this business or you can use a bank account that you already have. However, it all depends on you it is either you use your business account or your personal account for the wire and lodeging of this fund . I simply want a reliable bank account of yours, by this I mean a reliable bank account from which YOU & I can still pull out the US$10.5M,for our individual sharing for investment projects.

C. You shall aid me in the field of investment projects.

RE: I await your urgent response.

Dear Mr. Asoko,

Thank you for your prompt response but you still didn’t answer my question. Why am I being offered this inheritance money? I have never met you before and have never been to Africa. I am just curious as to how you got my information.

A. Death Declaration Certificate and Claim letter: I have never seen one of these before. Do I need to just forward it on, or do I need to sign it? I assume you will give me the email address of the banking authorities?

B. I have two bank accounts but am a little worried – wouldn’t the bank be suspicious of a transfer of $10.5 million suddenly to my account? Wouldn’t they suspect criminal activity? I have never dealt with these large amounts of money before so do not know! And wouldn’t a huge amount be taken out in tax from an international transfer?

Regarding that, I have an idea. I am from Philly but also own a summerhouse in Slovenia, and have a bank account at a local Slovene bank. It is a small bank and I have great trust with the bank manager there. Perhaps the money could be transferred to my Slovenian bank account, or partially to the American account (small enough not to arise suspicion or investigation) and mostly to the Slovenian account. Question: any taxes that come out of the transfer or fees will be paid out of YOUR portion of the inheritance right?

C. Sad to say, I am not a businesswoman but I do know a little bit about property investment, given my experience in Slovenia. And I have always dreamed of opening a restaurant! With these funds, we could open an African restaurant in Philadelphia and be business partners, what do you say to that!? I think there is a high demand for this kind of food because there are a lot of black people here who probably want to reconnect with their heritage, don’t you think? Where in Africa are you from? What kind of food do you eat? If we are going to be business partners I would like to get to know you a little better and learn about you so we can build trust.

Trust and confidentiality: I want this to happen as much as you do, but can I tell my husband JaMarcus? He has also dreamed of opening a great new restaurant in Philadelphia and would be interested in this transaction. He knows a lot more about money than I do. Also, his ancestors came to the US from a place in Africa called Cameroon and I think he would be interested in meeting someone who actually lives in Africa to tell him what life is like there.

1. Shannon Molvani
2. Kimball Street, Philadelphia PA 19147 (sorry, I don’t feel comfortable giving my exact address to a complete stranger, so only the street for now)
3. I don’t want to bring my work into this, I could get fired for dealings lke this outside my company.
4. Human Resources Specialist
5. 206-339-4962
6. Married – my beloved husband JaMarcus Russell and I had our ceremony on the Philadelphia waterfront and went to Dave and Busters afterward. Do they have Dave and Busters in Africa? We have been married for almost 5 years!
7. I will turn 30 on October 24.

Could you please provide the same information about yourself so we can get to know each other?

Thanks a lot – I am so excited to share some other investment ideas with you and receiving my money! But please answer my questions and let me know if I can tell JaMarcus about this. I feel funny keeping secrets from him.

Kwaheli! (I looked up how to say it in your language! J)

Subject: facts...

Hello,

The fact remains that you stand to face no legal problem, no government interrogation or central bank questionings on the source because this fund shall be programmed on wire transfer movement with the strict observance of the entire laws and ethics governing a hitch free successful transfer of huge fund from one country to another.

To be precise, the key point is that the fund in whole will be set on wire transfer as an 'INHERITANCE', with your name tag written to it as the INHERITOR. A fund on wire transfer with the originating source tagged as inheritance is automatically given wire passage and lodgeing access without queries, if necessary declarations are clearly and fully made in the wire cable info-message by the transferring bank .

Banks and governments worldwide do not restrict the in-flow of fund tagged as inheritance, so this is the much reason why we are bound sure of success. I still work in the bank so I know what is applicable in terms of international wire transfer acceptance logistics, the surest fact is that there cannot be any kind of problem in the transfer and lodeging of this fund into your account. So be rest assured, we shall win!

Sincerely,
Mr.Alpha Isoko.

Hello Alpha-

I looked it up, and it looks like the inheritance tax in the United States is 35% of the total. So you are saying that the 20% wire transfer fee is waived for inheritances? That is good.

It is frustrating to have to pay 35% inheritance tax on this money coming into the US. We may have to use my Slovenian bank account if that is alright. I am looking into that now. As you may know, Slovenian banks are having some issues now so I am having trouble getting the information I need from them at the moment.

Thanks!

Re: facts…

Hey Alpha-

Reading over your personal information I am a little confused. In your first email you said you had a wife and two three children.. what does that mean? You have 23 kids, or you have 2 kids and the 3rd one has some retardation so he only counts as half a kid.. that would be cruel! I just am not sure what you meant.

Then in this email you say you are divorced. Are you married or not? What is your wife's name?

I looked up your work address and it looks like that is the address of the Central Bank of Burkina Faso and not BOA Burkina Faso. Did you give me the wrong address by mistake?

Also, in your first email you list your home address as 12 avenue kanazoe but in this email it is Rue Moro Naaba. Which one is your actual address?

I want to build a personal trust with you but am worried that the information you are giving me isn't clear.

Thanks,

Shannon.

Exciting development! I have been thinking a lot about this restaurant
for our investment. I guess we can surprise JaMarcus once the funds
come through. You did say you were going to come to Philadelphia to
help out with the investment, right?

See the link below for a restaurant space. This is in a HOT area of
Philly, we could get a lot of foot traffic. There are rich people
around there too and I know there is a need for ethnic food. Chinatown
is nearby but that is all Chinese stuff, I think AFRICAN food would be
really exciting to people.

http://www.loopnet.com/Listing/17821591/300-Arch-Street-Philadelphia-PA/

Alpha. As we start this partnership I will need your help not only in
providing this money but also because you know African food being from
Ouagadougou. Could you please let me know..

1. What is your favorite African dish that should be featured on the
menu?

2. What kind of alcohol do Africans drink? Are there any good African
breweries over there that we can team up with?

3. Do they play the bongos in your part of Africa. JaMarcus wanted to
name the restaurant either Bongos or Congo Bongo but that would be
stupid if the food isn't from an area where you actaully play the
bongos.

4. Do you smoke hookah in Africa? It might be fun to start a hookah
bar.

5. Do you know any chefs that would be willing to come to the US and
work for the restaurant? We don't know anyone around here who
specialize in African food. Only these stupid asians who want to cook
fish and put soy sauce in everything.

Are you going to quit your bank job if you come and work with us on the
restaurant in the US? I'm telling you, restaurants are a very promising
and worthwhile investment, and I think you will be happy.

When are you sending me the banking form?

And please, answer my questions from the previous emails.

Thanks,

Shannon

Alpha-

I am so sorry for the delay. Yesterday was a very busy day at work as is the rest of this week but it is calming down now.

The highest inheritance tax posed in Slovenia is 30%, less than the United States, as I suspected. I can have you deposit into the Slovenian bank and I will fly there and withdraw and take it to the United States myself.

Why haven't you sent me the form where I fill in my bank account information? Are you saying you want me to send my information before you send me the form? What information exactly do you need.. bank address, bank account #? I have never sent bank info over the email before so am not sure what I am supposed to include.

In other news, I have met with a property management company about Congo Bongo yesterday. I filled out some forms applying for a leasing of a property on Arch Street - prime real estate! As it is a commercial property, they want some information about the investors as well. I am obtaining a copy from the company, Philco Commercial Management to send you, and it is first being filled out by another investor in our restaurant, Mr. Asomugha. If you could please fill out the investor section when I send it to you that would be great.

I also plan to send you some menu items. There is going to be an animal theme in the food names. JaMarcus is taking charge of that.

OK lets get all this done quickly so I can book my trip to Slovenia to pick up the money. Philco wants us to deposit 6 months rent up front as collateral.

Thanks!

Dear Alpha,

I thought you said you worked for BOA? In that case, why don't I just send the information to you, and you can fill out the form?

Here is the information you requested:

Bank: Hypo Alpe-Adria
Address: Ferrarska Ulica 30
Koper-Capodistria, Slovenia
Account #: 181-21599-52
SWIFT: BAKO5I2XIBO
Routing: 578218272

My address: (in Philadelphia, let me know if you need the Slovenian address)
4917 Kimball Street
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19147
Phone: 206-339-4962
Fax: I think you can send faxes to my phone number as well, but not sure how it works. We don't really use fax anymore in the USA, it is antiquated.

You are so paranoid about being secretive, but you said you wanted to invest in our restaurant, Congo Bongos. Don't worry, I have not said anything to Mr. Asomugha about you but I did give your name to Philco, because as an investor in our new property you need to fill out the investor information section of the contract. I will send that to you shortly. I have done everything so far without JaMarcus knowing.

I did tell JaMarcus we had a big surprise coming up, and that he would find out in Slovenia. Maybe you can come to Slovenia and meet up with us to surprise JaMarcus after we sign the lease for the restaurant? Every year we come up there for Halloween and host a big Bunga Bunga Party to celebrate. Do you do Bunga Bunga Parties down in Africa? Our friend Silvio also has a summerhouse in Slovenia and is a very good organizer. You are invited this year! I will send you more information once I get the lease document back from you.

I will send the lease shortly and let me know if you need any more bank info from me.

Thanks!

Here is the lease document for our restaurant property. We have already
had our other investor Asomugha fill out his part. Please fill out
yours. This is something that the property company wants in order for
us to begin renting. Your section I believe starts on page 5.

Also, I will need the name of your chef contacts that you said you have.
Could you please give the name of an African chef and his email address
so I can get in touch with him about starting work at Congo Bongos? I
have a lot of questions that I have looked up on African food too, like
Fufu. I need someone who can cook that and other soups like you
suggest. Please give me the chef names ASAP!

Alpha!

Thankn God you responded, i was so worried about you when I didn't hear back from you for weeks. What happened?

I am a little upset with you. You did NOT fill out Philco's forms that I need for the restaurant lease space. As an investor, they want some information about you. I need to sign that lease by October 31 or it is VOID. Please fill out those forms immediately and send back - let me know if you have any questions.

If you want to be a good business partner with Congo Bongos like you previously stated you will have to respond to your emails much quicker. And the email you sent me below is so impersonal, it makes me upset. I thought we trusted each other and were starting a business investment.

At the same time, thank you for the transfer. I am excited to get my money! I go to Slovenia on October 26th and would like to meet you there if possible. As I said in an earlier email, our friend Silvio is arranging a bunga bunga party and we would love to have you there. We can also discuss Congo Bongos in more detail.

Answer me back and send the lease please! I am going to be on you about this.

Thanks,

^ Just wasting their time is an achievement. You should think of it this way. You have absolutely nothing to lose. In fact by just getting the scammer to respond once you have already won. Anything after that is just extra icing on the cake.

Have you considered trying to get a mentor?

Yes I have considered it but if I get one then I have to try and I am not sure. I mean .. what if they find out who I am or something? I know there are many ways to keep the scam going but I really don't know enough to be able to trick them. (By the way I thought your post count said 419 instead of 416 and I had a chuckle out of that Very Happy) Very Happy

Edit: Okay I have a lot of questions and don't want to hijack anyone else's thread so I asked my question here Joker:

Well I'm new too, and what I can already tell you is that it's very hard to get them off your back, even if you want to. They are so desperate if they think you have lots of cash or just about anything else to offer them. But the thing is that the usual talk gets boring after a while. I'm currently dealing with 60 different scams, and they really go the same way all the time. So now I'm nosing in the forum, searching for new tricks to pull on them, and that's what I find is very cool: try new stuff and see how they react.
And the hardest thing to do, but I'm trying, is to get them to fill in long documents with hilarious questions. I have none so far, but I have one guy who is dying to join my Church of the Holy Triangle, and I'm trying to get my hands on a very long list of induction questions.
I also have one who promised to fill in that long WU list, but he has not come back to me yet, so I doubt he will be back at all.

Anyhow, I think this is great fun, and we do the community a service.
I'm also willing to work with others in order to make it even more complicated for them. So if you want that, give a shout.
I'm both a hot, rich blonde who's buying her own jet, and the father of the Church of the Holy Triangle, whoever you wish to work with.
