I replied to a spam email of untold commissions for the job I applied for...haha!

It's obviously for a "mule", however, it had a website attached to it, all looking very legitimate, me old mate El Capitan Borracho and myself haven't been able to prove it's validity either way, so I'm opening it up for other opinions.

It started as this:

At this point I'm trying to prove that the site has either been hijacked or is directly linked to a phising site.

Anyone with any experience in these?

I'm in that situation right now.

Since this past week, I have launched a new investigation to look into a would-be scammer who, later this week, have sent me more than 2000 dollars in a check. I have a bunch of emails writing back an forth, but I'll post them up shortly in a new topic.

Yep, I received this email below, and googled the name in the email and wiki has Erik Hamren as a Swedish former football player! haha!! Definitely a scam.

I had Chairman Gomer write to this lad, offering him a job with Gomer Global Inc.
