If anyone wants a good laugh, I recommend this direct-to-DVD kid flick, which is actually about an instance of the 419 scam. The plot focuses on a schoolchild who, when sent to the principal's office, intercepts a 419 e-mail sent to her principal when the principal and her aunt briefly step outside the office to talk. What follows is a somewhat ridiculous sequence of events involving an electrical surge and the scammers not being able to access the money and so coming to the U.S. and kidnapping the girl's sister. The whole thing is incredibly cheesy and the dialogue is often ridiculous, but it's so cheesy that's it good for a fair few laughs.

Amazon shows its been around since 2006; must have been direct to DVD as I don't remember my kids ever asking me to see it. Might be something the kids enjoy during a rainy weekend.

Oh, it's definitely direct-to-DVD. There's no way they would have ever put this in any theatre.
