moneygram question

over the last week, i have sent my lad to the bank 3 times to collect a $4,000 moneygram (made by the m.o.a.g) and he is currently emailing my character, my characters assistant, and my characters banker, all to no avail.
for my final attempt, i want to send him a real moneygram for $1.23, that he will need to travel an hour and 15 minutes away to pick up. i do know that this will cost me about $14 to send, but to me it is well worth it. and i would generate a fake mg for $4000 and use the real reference number on the fake one. so when my lad finally thinks he is catching a break, he is severely disappointed.
i have never sent or recieved a real moneygram before, and i was wondering if i would send a real moneygram, will they need to see my ID, which would cause me to use my real name?
i think this is an awesome idea, however i do not want to go through with it if it is not 100% safe on my end.

Please scrap that idea. Even 1 dollar is too much and there is a chance he would use a real one to con another person with.

Yeah, it's been discussed in another thread that any live MG or WU slips for even a buck have been used by scammers on real victims.

Moneygram obviously isn't working, he needs to give you a bank account to pay into.
Some pointers-
Stress your commitment to paying him repeatedly.
Thank him often.
Reinforce his belief in your delusion by telling him what you will do when your money is delivered.
Make him think you need his guidance. Appear a little needy.
Get lots of piggies, starve his ass to death.
