Hello guys, I've been reading your site for many months now, and I want to become a baiter myself. Thing is, my english is not 100 % perfect, but I have seen a lot of scams in spanish too (I am from Argentina), maybe I can go for those.

Anyway, I really registered in the site to find a person who can help me through my first steps of the scam baiting art. Someone willing to give me a little hand. I repeat, my english is not 100 % perfect, but I think is good enough to fool a scammer.

Already got a mentor, thanks for the information. Any chance to get scammers in spanish after I graduate ? I don't mind english anyway, but is good to know.

¡Hola RoyFokker! There are Spanish-speaking scammers but generally it's better (and more amusing) not to know their language so well.

Welcome to eater, English isn’t required. Every once and awhile we get scam emails in different languages.

But you don’t have to wait, not at all. Make them re-explain things in great detail, even when you understand fully.

Also consider getting involved in other area’s of baiting, site killing and posting your emails on scam warners. The whole baiting community can only benefit from people who are more fluent in other languages.

So feel free to pass our community along to all your friends.

Take a look at this one. A lad sent a script in machine-translated Spanish, which I baited in Spanish with intentional errors, so that his machine translator would produce garbage.

And I second hanging out on Scamwarners. I've seen some posts in part English, part Tagalog, and I couldn't make any sense out of the Tagalog.

Thanks for the advices. That spanish scam was pretty good, hope I can get something like that. My mentor told me I can get 30 scam e-mails per day, so I guess I would have to choose from.

Tagalog is for real. It is a Phillipine language. Don't feel bad for not knowing. Scammers are everywhere and this is where we find huge value in people that speak other languages.

OK I started a bait e-mailing a lad asking for details. I will probably have questions and I really don't want to disturb my mentor with a daily basis e-mail asking for stuff. My question is: I need to create a new topic for anything I may have to ask or maybe I can use this very topic to post my questions ?

grab a few lads and bait them all. you will lose most and may keep some but you will also learn what works and what doesn't. try the same lad with three different types of characters and approaches and see the differences in how the lad reacts.

does roycropper know what you are doing to him? Very Happy

oh and feel free to disturb your mentor at all hours. They will be waiting eagerly to help you out at any time.
