Not like prison style, but what you would want in a last meal. $100 limit.

My meal would be shrimp cocktail followed by linguine with clams.

T-bone steak, medium rare with garden grown fresh beefsteak tomatoes.

Finished with a homemade strawberry ice cream.

Three-by-three, medium rare, no onions, fries well-done, to go. Thank you very much. $6.37. Plus the cost of the Ravenswood Zinfandel I have with it when I get home.

A £2.00 portion of Onion Bhajis and a £6.50 Chicken Jalfrezi with Chappaties from my local Indian takeaway.

Total: £8.50 what a sophisticated pallet I have eh? Wink

Mine is a Five Guys double bacon cheese all the way, regular fries, a Surly Furious. About $14 (FOURTEEN DOLLARS UNITED STATE).

I'd go with a New York strip steak, smothered with onions, mushrooms, and peppers. A couple of baked potatoes (crispy skin) with lots of butter. And a side of broccoli w/cheese sauce. And of course, Italian bread w/butter.

Desert would be a slice of cheesecake.

And of course, a few glasses of milk Smile

Justcold's main (with a jacket potato maybe, but NOT fries) and Dwatina's sweet, washed down with Juan's Zinfandel (as long as it's chilled) sounds good to me, but not sure about the starter, maybe something with tiger prawns in garlic butter with a touch of chili heat.

Could I see the menu again, please?

A hulking big melt-in-the-middle chocolate sponge. With lots and lots of chocolate. All your chocolates belong to me. Very Happy

And a couple of bottles of Jacob's Creek Sparkling Chardonnay/Pinot-Noir to wash it down. The only wine I can drink a bottle of and not be maudlin by the end of it.

I was going to say sushi at Masa in NYC, but $100 only gets you halfway into the door.

So, instead, I think I would do a dozen oysters, with a glass of Dom. Followed by a bone-in ribeye steak, medium rare with some hash browns, asparagus and sauteed onions. Couple glasses of cabernet.

One cigarette afterwards, b/c well, it's not going to hurt me is it?

A fillet (medium) at Mancini's Char House in St Paul. Followed by a half full snifter of B&B, a cup of coffee and a cigarette.

A close second was cabbage rolls (golbaki) and boiled potatoes at Nye's. (BO will appreciate that)

quite an acceptable substitute, but I prefer the pie with curry sauce. If I was having gravy, the rag pudding would be first choice, but curry & guinness gives the homebrewed napalm effect I'd be looking for.

A 14 oz. whiskey marinated Ribeye from the Drover Steakhouse in Omaha. Garlic hash browns and roasted asparagus with hollandaise sauce. For dessert pecan pie a la mode.

That will make at least two more pounds they would have to lift onto the gurney.

Bad Roy says get some pizza and burgers, then spend the rest on an 18 box of Peroni Nastro Azzuro and a half bottle of absinthe. Evil or Very Mad

As JMR pointed out, no real reason not to take up smoking again, if the other diners didn't mind.

I've been pondering this one for quite some time and just can't come up with the definitive answer....

Eating homemade Ukrainian food with my Mother ( with copious amounts of Merlot). Check

Hanging out in Redbones in Davis Square slugging back Micro Brews and Ribs. Check

Scarfing down an Icleandic hotdog and then spending the rest on Tuborg Classic. Check

Deep fried Turkey in Iroquois Falls (the stuffing is, of course, made with my own two feet). Check

Oh I could go on and probably will...Honestly, the list goes on forever. If only I could remember the name of some of the places I've been to over my short but meaningful life. Did I mention Yorkshire pudding made into a bowl? Oh yeah that was elsewhere.

A big ol' carne asada burrito, don't spare the habanero peppers - $8

A tall, frosty Negra Modelo (and keep 'em coming) - $4 each x 6 = $24

A bottle of Herradura Anejo tequila - all the rest of the $$

A double winner...a culinary orgasm and a fart-upon-my-expiration of epic proportions.

@PF that is somewhat correct. I generally spend a blessed fortune on meals as I like the concept of relaxing after a hard day and being catered to. The food can be extraordinary, the service second to none but what I really like is no memory whatsoever of leaving the table. Mind you,I do have some memories of:

Hitting the Danforth in Trawna for some awesome Greek food (The Astoria comes to mind).

Chowing down in the No Name Restaurant in Boston. Fish and paper table cloths.

Having some Madras in Curry Original ( sadly the Curry Village fell during a Brotherly dispute).

Eating just about anything at Chez Piggy!!! Zal Yanovsky really knew what to do once the music left him (RIP).

Frequenting Pepe's in Edmond Oklahoma. Please go there as my family needs the business!

And finally for tonight:

Slumming it in the GreyFriar's Bobby. Tis proper....

I'll have about 6 pieces of Unagi and a glass of water, with a hunk of Wasabi on the side. May the rice be Jasmine, please, and a cup of tea for dessert.

About $30 USD. Please deposit the leftover money in my new bank account for my beneficiaries and tell my Barrister to put out the word.
