I got this message from them. read it and give any suggested replies to them

Scams in the name of Allah are uncommon. Are you sure the scammer has no reallife info about you?
Have you set up a catcher account to get fresh lads?
You will do nasty things to the scammers and make him very angry. Be sure to bait safe.

He is a scammer, thats for sure. I've read tons of e-mails like this. The names and other details change, but the script is always the same.

At start you should answer like a typical victim.
Don't give him a "scanned ID" not even a faked one. He would use it on other victims. Rename the copy of a large dll-file to mypassport.jpg and send it to him.

If you have access to a anonymus prepaid phone, you can give him this number. But don't use this phone for anything else but baiting.
If you dont want to call him, give him a www.k7.net or www.xoip.com number.

Follow his script and learn how it works. It will help you during your next baits.

A few suggestions:

1. You can either use a voip or k7 number like suggested above if you wish to take calls.

2. You can purchase a throwaway phone from most convenience stores and simply register it with your fake characters identity and not any of your real info.

3. You can tell your lad that you are hard of hearing and would prefer to deal solely through email. Or tell him that you have the answering service setup because it transcribes the messages into text for you to read since you are deaf/hard of hearing.

4. From here since you are new to baiting I would recommend straight baiting him until you become familiar with the process of how these scammers operate.

I read that you are baiting safe, but I just wanted to reiterate that you should be baiting from a webmail service that strips your originating IP address such as GMail. Although your IP only gives a general location of where you are writing from, it could take some credibility from your story if you claim to be in the UK and your IP resolves to the US, etc.

Now for the straight bait you are basically just constantly pretending to go along with the lad's plan which usually involves:

1. Collecting your personal information with the claim that it will be used to make you the beneficiary of the fund.

2. He will request a transfer fee for release of the funds of some kind. He will more than likely request that the money to him be sent via Western Union or Money Gram. Here you have a few choices:

A. Tell him that Western Union is unsecure. You do not trust Western Union and will only send money through bank to bank transfer.

B. You can say that you are unable or afraid to leave the house and will be sending someone else to make the Western Union Transfer for you. This is where you would create a second character in your bait. This person can have difficulties making the transfer or may decide to just steal the transfer outright from the lad. You could additionally send yourself an email from your second character with a slightly different address as your lad and pretend to intercept the money.

C. Western Union is no where near you. The one near you is closed/ burnt down/ etc., etc. Basically whatever you can think of.

If you can get him to send you a bank account, you can forward your emails with the scammer WITH HEADERS and the banking information to the mysterious alan and he will attempt to have the bank account shut down and you can claim a piggy. http://forum.419eater.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=119780(See most of our signatures)

As you begin to understand the process and have success with a few lads you can attempt more outrageous angles to get them to do things. An important thing to remember is that lad's although generally less intelligent than the average baiter are still people and will not do just anything you want without proper trust or motivation.

@Ridha I would also like to suggest that you sign up for a mentor to assist you on a one-to-one basis. The sign up area is in Scambaiting Help, Hints and Tips area. Mentors are available.

Also please note that material posted in this area (Main Scambaiting) is not behind a log in so it is searchable by google and other search engines. So if you post any traceable information, you might consider changing the information, i.e. if your characters name is John Heffle, you might change it to John Smith, etc. or change the character's name, i.e. if it is John, maybe make is Jxhn.
