Anyone familiar with the angle for (if there is one) the DV Lottery (Green Card Lottery)? Had a lad going for a couple of weeks and thought he was going to ask for money for a doctor visit and medicine, but he did the quick change today and wants ME to fill out his 2013 lottery application online, stating it gives him a better chance to win if filled out here (which makes zero sense as usual). I'm not familiar with this and am stalling my response until I can find out more information. Obviously, not going to do it, just want to know how assertive to be with my refusal. Thanks! |

Possibly you will need to enter email addy and password he may be after that.
You can always say the site is down easy enough to fake that and send screen shot with the website address substituted. |

The Lad told me to enter his own password and ID, not mine. Yes, he wants to come to the US; he states this is why he wants to win the DV Lottery for which the prize is getting to come to the US. And yes, that is the URL he gave me.
No angle for money that anyone knows of? If this is just someone wanting what they actually say they want, which is to come to the US by winning the DV Lottery, then I'll let him down easy. It doesn't however, make sense to have me fill out an online form that he already had the URL for unless there is some other angle. |

The only "angle" I can think of, is your command of the English language. No matter how good the Lad's English is, yours is better. Maybe he thinks that whomever reads those applications will think the Lad is well educated by "his" excellent spelling, grammar and syntax and, thus, this will improve his chances of winning. |
