For those folks in the U.S. or who get the AMC channel: Season Three starts Sunday night and I can hardly wait.

Last year I was sitting around and going through the channels, and I came across The Walking Dead marathon. I had never seen it before, and was hooked. Watched practically every episode that weekend (missed the last few of Season Two). The marathon is showing again this weekend, so I'll make sure I catch those last episodes tomorrow.

Anyway--does anyone here follow the series? Planning on watching the marathon this weekend? Looking forward to tomorrow night?

I've watched most of Season 1, all of Season 2 and will be watching the new season. I do enjoy the show, but probably wouldn't have watched it if my husband wasn't obsessed wtih it, and zombies in general.

I really like the show, and was dragged into it the first episode of Season 2, then had to Netflix Season one.

I had never even heard of the show until I accidentally came across that marathon this time last year.

BC, you probably should work in the first two seasons before jumping into the third - at least the second season, otherwise you will most likely be very lost.

I've been watching the show since Episode 1. The hubby and I are both way into Halloween. We were watching AMC's Halloween marathon and they were promoting the hell out of the premiere. I remember thinking, "It's about damn time someone gave zombies their own show."

We had season 2 on our V+ box to watch as a marathon, then the bleeper crashed and needed replaced so we lost the lot.

I've watched since the first day of the Outbreak as well. I had saved just enough juice from the solar cells to power up a small t.v. that was showing the plight of those poor survivors. I only wish I was close enough to join them, but I can't risk leaving my bunker. It's just the five of us, but we have acclimated pretty well and aside from occasional supply raids outside, we are largely unnoticed by the walkers.

Anyway, they really are a different group now. Much more focused, showing operational discipline. The jail could make for a great base, if they can secure it without any more mishaps (poor Herschel -- going to be with his wife soon I expect). Wonder who those prisoners are that showed up at the end? I like that Michonne girl -- very handy with a katana. Should get me one of those.

Have to go now - hear some scratching on the outer door. Think I'll take the pry bar this time...

I think I saw more zombies in last night's episode than in all of last season combined. That's a good sign.

My son picked out the comic books for me when he was in first grade. He's in middle school now. So who's the noob now Laughing

The TV show is really good. It doesn't have the silliness you find in a lot of zombie movies.

When they first announced they were making the comic into a TV series, the first thing I thought was they would not be able to match the gore. They did and then some.
