I wanna start straight baiting again. I have heard recently that gmail now includes IP.

Can someone point me to some threads regarding safe baiting practices? What is the best email to use for straight baiting? I am not going to be setting up phone or anything else. Just some lad time wasting.

I wasnt aware that gmail wasnt stripping IP's anymore, but ill have to check.

However if you try Hushmail that definitly strips IP's, and has a pretty good UI.

I just made a test and gmail is still stripping the IP from the mail header. The only time when it does not is if you use another (non IP stripping) mail provider to send the mails through gmail. So as long as you use only gmail you are safe.

And even if you do not, 98% of all lads have no idea how to check IP. And of those approx. 2%, only a fraction of them have the resources to actually do you any harm.
And out of those lads virtually none have the motivation to do anything about it. And the reason for this is that they are motivated by money. For them to arrange (from Africa) for someone to "visit" you would cost them money. They are not interested in anything that cost them money, only things that make them money. They might threaten you though if they think that it will get you to pay them money.

do you mean by other provider, that if someone uses for example yahoo to access a gmail address through pop3/smtp, yahoo is still capable of setting your own IP into that mail?

if yes, there must be a way of setting a fake ip into the mail header, since yahoo is capable of doing that.

I do only straight baiting, and enjoy it quite a bit. It's fun to invent different identities for yourself, tell outlandish lies to the lads and have them believe it all. Very Happy

As for IPs, when I check mine it always points to a city about 20 minutes from where I actually am, and until it starts pinpointing your home address I wouldn't worry too much about it.
