From here onwards, I've kept them using the phone, gave them a mobile number since even if they use skype the cost of calls is still 0.30€ per minute.

I've used the argument that I'm at a construction site where there is no internet access, here's the costs:

24/7

25/7
* 2+1+2+4+1+1+2+1 = 14 minutes

26/7
* 3 +3 = 6 minutes
I finally sent them a fake ID card scan, so the scammer is convinced he has me on the hook.

27/7
* 1+2+4+1+1+1+1+1+1+3+4+2 = 22 minutes he his is now in a frenzy since his requested I send 2600USD to pay for the "death certificate" I've kept him on a leash all day long with doubts on how western union works all of this on the phone, very often I would pick up the call but mute the audio to forcing him to think the call failed and yet another minute calling cost (this is fun Smile

)...

At the end of the day I finally gave him the MTCN, using a number that can be phonetically confused. He will only be able to check it in the morning, so I'm expecting yet another call in the morning when I will give him another version of the number Laughing

^ You might want to edit out the mail addies, particularly your own, but also the scammers, in case some loose cannon or lurker decides to join in the fun or even spoil the bait. Wink
