I need to draw a political map of Germany by Photoshop. First I open a ready map of Germany with Photoshop (in .bmp format). So I follow the boundaries of the ready map by Freeform Pen Tool. Then I erase the ready map by Eraser Tool how, just my drawing exists. Now, when I save as this in .bmp format, only a blank picture is saved. please help me for drawing the map. |

Are you actually using the program, Photoshop? If so what version. This will help me to walk you though what you are trying to make.
If you are using PS, then I'd start by saving the image format as a PSD. That way if anything goes wrong, at least your work will still be there. After this, I would save the image as a .jped not a .bmp. |

You want to convert a path to a brush stroke. In most versions of PS, you can right-click on the path and select "Stroke Path", then choose the tool you want to use for the stroking. |
