I've gotten nowhere with this particular version of the Mueller shakedown. I have tried to talk him down to fifty bucks, challenged him to a duel in a neutral country, asked to speak to his superior, threatened to come over there and kick his ass but all to no avail! I Probably have forgotten a few others but such is life. This script needs someone to give a proper de-education to the Lad(s) involved!

I asked Bob to have Dina send me an ID of some sort and then I promised I would send the money tomorrow.

It gets worse. I guess the FBI doesn't believe in "Innocent until proven guilty." I don't even get a trial first? Crying or Very sad

@SO: Oh, it's easy. Tell him you sent the money. When he goes to the MG office to collect and is told the MTCN is no good, tell him you'll go to your MG office. After you do, tell him the money was picked up. They can't tell you who it was, but that it was picked up in (insert a country here). Smile

In my case, I tell them Cameroon, where my "lad" is from.

@BattleHawk77: I did as you suggested and told Bob I did send the money but to another name. Not my fault! I get so many letters from Bob asking me to send money to so many different people I got confused!

After getting that news, this is what my inbox looked like today, and the day is not over yet:

@oscarpiles: I see what you mean. Trying to get this bone-headed mugu off script is a Herculean task. I finally did it (sort of) by sending several emails, all in large caps, telling him I DID SEND THE MONEY AND IT WAS PICKED UP.
But now he's robo-mailing (and calling me "Bill"??) and asking over and over for the MTCN.

I find it hard to believe that this dumbass fool has scammed anyone.
