I'm really glad you showed an interest in my group. I will now admit there were a few within my group who voiced opinions that you may not be genuine and that this may be some sort of scam.
Those who raised these concerns said that if you showed real, unprompted, interest in our group then that would be a sure sign that you are for real. I am very pleased that you have asked these questions.

The Follows of Dagon, my religious group, has a charity fund which all members can access either for personal need or sometimes for gifting too worthy causes. Dagon was the god of the Philistines, and is the patron deity of my group. The name "Dagon" is derived from "dag" which means "fish." Although there is a deep affection gained from our worshipper of Dagon, the symbol of a fish in human form was really meant to represent fertility and the vivifying powers of nature and reproduction.
The Babylonians had a myth that a being emerged from the Erythraean Sea who was part man and part fish and thus adopted the deity into their culture in their earliest days in history. There have also been discoveries of the fish-god in the sculptures found in Nineveh, Assyria.

I am really well thanks for asking. It is our annual group retreat to the desolate and remote landscape of the Orkneys. We are all camped on the sunny banks of the Knowledge Canal on a fishing and Dagon worshipping extravaganza!!

I don’t know if you know anything about Canal Knowledge, but as a group we are gaining an intimate level of understanding!! We are also doing a bit of fishing, I am a bit disappointed in the number of fish we can catch, but there is an abundance of other things in the area. Just yesterday my good friend Rimmer did catch a dose from an old trout - he used his understanding of Canal Knowledge to entice his prey, and I also managed to land a 2lb black ribbed knobler which was floating downstream!!!

The phone is a satellite phone which is why it has a funny number, as the acting assistant accountant I am allowed access to it. I’m not totally familiar with it but apparently it can get a signal almost anywhere.

The Fishfather is in a better mood as he seems to be enjoying learning all there is to know about Canal Knowledge - between you and me I think he likes it a bit too much!! That was pretty darn good for a first bait. I didn't really have fun until my fourth or so - it took me a while to realize that the lads will believe just about anything as long as you can keep them thinking there will be some money in it for them.

You know, this bait isn't really that bad at all, as I you can read I really love it, and to add since I told my mom about this bait we use the term, "Sending my love to your scallops" LOL From what I have been reading about scambaiting, and from what my mentor what my mentor has been talking about, playing dumb, and asking lots of question before the main bait is all you really need to do in-order to gain enough trust from the lad, to make him dance, and sing or do whatever.

I personally think that you were very close. But still very funny and at least you made the lad very P/O at the end.

I"m going to use that saying, "Sending my love to your scallops", with a link directing people to this post, in my signature.

Good job you made of it! My first bait makes me laugh at all the mistakes I made. Don' worry you did just fine.
Throwing in a sentence or two that makes your lad's head tilt is a fun way to prolong the bait with all the explaining.
