WTF just happened in group A. This is, at least for me, utterly unexpected.
Grant it that the Czech Poland game could swing either way, but Greece beating Russia wasn't even on my map. I am impressed though. |

Looks like I got group A totally wrong having predicted Russia and Poland to progress.
Major surprise with the Russians going from group leaders to leavers in the space of 90 mins.
For tonights games, I think Germany will beat Denmark and Netherlands will beat Portugal, but
again, like last night the are many permutations which could see any of them through to the next stage. |

^^ It had to happen at some point , but it shouldn't have been this time.
But we still performed way better than WC 2010, and there's a lot of potential in out relatively young team, so I'm optimistic about WC2014 (if we qualify - Italy and Czech Republic will be tough opponents. I wonder how the hell Norway were seeded higher than us. They haven't qualified for anything for a really long time). |

The odd thing is that that some guy often takes his position there, well knowing that he's very likely to get hit by the spheroid
