Hi all,

Just got into this last week and have claimed my first piggy bank - loving it.

I am a programmer and am thinking about some hi-tech baiting.
A bogus website for getting answers to fake quizzes or even an app that screws up the users PC maybe even a benign app that flashes "I am a fscking scammer" in bold while taking away any menus after they try to answer some questions. Of course my app would call home with detail on the sting so we could track progress.
What do you all think?

Possibly someone has done this but if anyone wants help with an app they can use for a sting let me know and I will knock something up.

While the web site and such is a good idea, we don't do anything that actually messes with their computers. Most of the time, they are using cyber cafe computers, and those cafes are presumed innocent third parties, and we do our level best not to involve anyone except the scammers.

So, a website with a huge pop-up picture and sound proclaiming them to be a scammer would be a great idea. Having something they actually install on their computer to cause it harm is not. But I do like the way you think.

I was thinking non permanent but you would have to restart the computer which would draw allot of attention to what you are doing.

The Scammer message might be considered a form of Flaming too. Maybe a Mod can give a better idea of whether it conforms to guidelines.

You might try Deusers site. It has a function similar to what you are describing. Look at MOAG II.

Better to ask and get shot down than to do and get banned from the site. Don't forget to Check Deusers site. It might save you some programming time.

Any hi-tech skills are welcome here, as has been mentioned, we already have some very usefull baiting tools developed by forum members - and you might want to have a look at this thread http://forum.419eater.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=218471 which refers to another tool - developement in progress.
