I finally wore my lad down to the point he asked me not to send the money.

Or tell him it was a good thing you didn't send him the money, because you just found out you won the Coca-Cola lottery and need to pay the fee to collect your winnings.

It's torture for a lad to think some other lad got "his" money.

Well, I gotta say that's just about as off-script as it can get without him admitting he's a scammer, considering he must have jumped through all your hoops - investing; time, energy and hope of a payday. What's your secret for pissing this one off?

I'll give good odds on it not being compassionate grounds, that would take a rare lad indeed.

You will have to cheer up your despondent lad, Rattlesnake. Several mobile phones and laptops being sent by special courier should hopefully do the trick.

You'll also have to ask him what a "bless day" is and if it's the same as having a good day.

Did you refuse to follow his "orders" or have you just been having troubles with getting him his money?

I need to push my wife harder since she has not told me this. I can only get a "I see you were joking" thing. Of course I protested and called her childish.

I had a lot of trouble getting him the money. My character couldn't understand why it would cost $400 to ship an ATM card to me. I finally relented, but when I tried to send the money, my bank refused the transfer. Apprently this makes me "a joker". I tried to insist on sending the money again, but got the above response.

Meanwhile, the lad's other character was expecting my church's donation to pay for the cancer victim's funeral. When I tried to send him his bank transfer slip, the email was intercepted the GB's. Never heard back from him after that. Twisted Evil

You could write and congratulate him for successfully passing your anti-scammer procedures and you are now ready to work with him.

Say 'keep your money' was the secret password you were waiting to hear from him to prove he is 100% risk free. Very Happy

I have had 2 scammers who ultimately told me to keep my money. Guess the grief my character was giving him was not worth it.
