Lad still taunting after twigging?

My first bait was rather lucrative (to me anyway, I had low expectations ha ha), but after two months the lad figured out I was baiting him and sent me a copy of my character's guestbook entry@419baiters...

I dropped the bait and didn't hear from him (he was pretty mad lol), but I just got an email from him (my character owns a brooing company)

I thought scammers were too busy trying to scam victims to waste time taunting baiters??

I have not confirmed this guy that I was baiting him... in fact, my last message was

Maybe if I play stupid I can resurrect the bait?

You've probably lost him, but not to say that you can't send him a few choice phrases, turn it into an insult bait.

It keeps him occupied and away from victims, and generally just pi&&es him off.

Or, you could turn yourself into a Oga and tell him you were just testing him, and want him to take on some of your more promising scams in return for a cut. But, before you allow him he must first.....

Most lads won't waste their time continuing, but a few do actually hold enough of a grudge to continue with insults, etc. It has always amazed me, as they are the ones who are lying and stealing, but some get extremely angry and downright vicious with real victims because they learn the truth and stop paying.

But, on the other hand, it could be that he is not 100% certain of what you are. He could still have a bit of uncertainty about whether you are a victim, joker, or another lad, and he is hoping to provoke you into revealing yourself.

To me he thinks you are a lad. I'm always suprised how many lads think I'm another lad. I've only been called a joker once but acused of being another lad several times.

Sent a reply accusing him of hacking my "business associate's" email account.

Hoping to get a message back from the scammer indicating that yes, indeed his account was hacked, but it's all under control now, and can we finish the bidness?

I have one doing this to me on email and at 4ppl. i sent a mail to one of them after a silence f a week or more and I got a PM from both on 4ppl shortly after. If he wants to play, I think I know more ways of going about this than letting her write my name on her hand.
