I didn't explain the situation very well so you were quite right to ask me, its the farm thats been cut off, we were offered a helicopter ride into town but refused as the stock can't be left at this time of year. The hotels are all fine as far as I know, ticking along as usual, I don't really have much to do with them as they are all run by managers, just the odd board meeting a couple of times a year.
Its so nice to know that you are thinking of me, I think about you too, afraid its still raining here, the forecast says it will rain for the next month, which is a big joke considering they were telling us it was a drought this time two weeks ago!
I will have to keep this short as I don't want to upset my neighbour who is being very kind.
We had some chaps from the army here last night, very galant I had them stay to dinner and we all got a bit squiffy, I don't remember much but I'm sure we had a good time, they were asleep all over the house this morning when I got up, I really shouldn't drink it only takes two glasses of wine and I'm drunk, I shudder to think how much I drank last night I can't remember going to bed which is odd as I woke up with some of my clothes on and some off, the odd thing is some of them were in the sitting room, I do hope I didn't do anything wrong.
Anyway I must go as the nice major and the captain are staying for dinner again this evening.

Immediately I made a contact to my department in UK to make the transfer of my official allowance to me in Turkey but it is rather unfortunate when I heard that they have already transferred my official allowance to my bank account in UK the same day I departed from UK.
