^ I tried it ten days ago and I am STILL getting replies. This is a very productive way of moving mugus to flatten a phone number. So if you need one taking out of action this is probably the way to do it, perhaps you need to force him to communicate by email or you are a guy baiting as a girl and don't want to let the cat out of the bag by phoning him. but this works well. just tell him you tried but his phone is always off.

As a slight twist on this for ease of use on my part really, I've entered my email address on a number of guyman friendly guestbooks to attract spam and set up gmail to auto-reply.
