I can see that many doesn't get this thing with numbers. First you have the day, which is a short period of time. From there you move on to the longer months to end with the longest time period, the year. Short-long-longest.

To instead use long-short-longest is utterly senseless. It would be like counting 2 1 3. It doesn't make sense and should in my opinion be abolished. This problem have already caused problem in one of the threads here at Eater. I think it is time for the moderators to take this problem seriously. And preferably a mod based in the UK as i do not trust the US ones to view this with the clearness needed to make the right decision.

Either that or you can just lock the thread as this will soon (thanks to me) turn to shit.

You see typing out the date like 19/4/2012 is utter nonsense.

If anything it should be unix time at 1334679540.

Now I say 4/19/2012 is a more professional looking, and you go from the smalles to the largest number using that format. (Days before the 13th no longer exist in this argument Laughing

)
