Actually, you did. When the Server Rebuild auto-delete function broke down and accidentally dumped the thread into the open there was no way to put the genie back in the bottle. The damage was done. So we figured we'd just pretend it's a joke and ignore it. Looks like that ploy worked like a charm.

No biggie. Mods are constantly pulling practical jokes on each other. It helps relieve the relentless stress we're under. You don't think Cecily would deliberately put such an easily Googleable number in the opening post of the thread if she intended for the thread to be a joke on the members? That's too obviously a giveaway. If the mod meet had been planned to fool you guys we wouldn't deliberately put in any 'gotchas' that would blow it, especially not in the beginning.

But Cecily did trick me with that one, I actually called to coordinate a rendezvous time. But I'll get her back when she's least expecting it....

It's a server problem, we don't have the buttons. Rover's working on the programming but there's a bug in the auto-delete.

Believe me, I'm not happy about it either.

This is like when a lad google your bait on Eater and you desperately try to get the lad on board again. It is not impossible but it is going to take one tremendously stupid and gullible lad. And seeing as we are baiters i cant see that Juans effort will have much of an effect.

It was a nice joke and some fell for it, i wasn't one of them though, had it pegged as a moderator shenanigan from post one. To bad the whole forum didn't flip out like it did last year and people started impersonate each other left and right. I had a killer impersonation of Perry this year as my Squirrel one was appreciated last year. Didn't seem right though. But as always, April fools day is memorable.

Give Cobit my warmest regards in whatever hole you put him in down in the mods lounge. Very Happy

I know I'm not a mod but could I drive the limo next year? Or be the runner for Jerry's prescriptions? I'd even be happy to clean up the mess after and be the distraction for the escape after the mechanical bull gets destroyed.
