I have been baiting for about 6 months now I this is a great site, and I have used alot of your tips great stuff. but anyway I need some help with a very nice 17 yo lad who wants money to come to america to be a professional basketball player, I told him I have sponsored african students before and that I am very rich and live in a mansion in the foothills of kansas, I need someone to be my lawyer, lots of forms for him to fill out things like that. send me a message if anyone is interested. You might try adoption forms that are legal in your state, Imigration forms for the same, Then choose a nice local college for the Lad to apply for acceptance to. All of those forms you can probably do a Google search and find at real "dot gov" or college websites. If you can't find someone to act as lawyer you can always open another account and do it yourself. As a newby, you can also apply for a mentor who is usually more than willing to be an extra character for you.

You can just be your own lawyer, get a new addy and that way you control all input for the kid. You can even introduce him to your other protégées, by email of course, and convince him that way. One of your protégées might go back to Africa this summer to visit the family and bring him some gifts so he can be prepared when he comes to the States this fall. He'll have to pick them up the next town over of course, but then, they're nice gifts Smile

He's a basketball player...meaning you want to see a video of what he can do! Of course, you're rich, so you own a basketball team. The name of the team can be something demeaning and funny and the uniform can look ridiculous, so of course that's what the lad has to wear!
As well, you don't want to see videos of him just slam-dunking by himself...No...it needs to be something special so that the other owners of the team will pay as well for him to come to america....lets see...perhaps slam-dunking off the roof of a house while on fire? That's special, dangerous, and would make for a REALLY FUNNY VIDEO!!!! Twisted Evil

Hello nbn111, welcome to Eater. You've gotten some good advice on baiting safe and getting a mentor. However I see no evidence that this kid has offered you money or that he intends to defraud you in some way. He may simply be a beggar, or trying to get a visa. We do not bait either of these. Please provide one of his emails (with headers) showing evidence of intent to defraud, before you continue. Thank you.

This sounds like a beggar that we have dealt with before. Do read his email very carefully for evidence of fraud as bo suggested.
