@ALL-
I don't want to seem like I am bickering but looking at all the great photos made me reflect on why I was not there.

Then it hit me- Tony, Sophie, Edwin, Cecily + Brandon and Alex. These guys are always voting as a block and jacked the planning.

I remember a few years back before Tony, Sophie, Edwin, Cecily/ Brandon and Alex when we decided we would move the meets all over the world and rotate back and forth. How many meets in a row are we going to have in basically the same area? Two years ago someone had made a banner with "Rio Carnival Meet 2012". Remember that?

I say that for our next meet we set up a poll and if Tony, Sophie, Edwin, Cecily and Brandon and that smart Alex want to vote as a block, they get one vote.

One last comment. I can tell from the public displays of affection why certain individuals tag teamed back and forth during the planning.

You and I are not accused by Connie of hijacking all the planning.

You were pissed at me then anyway so obviously we weren't plotting to exclude anyone. I'm incredibly glad we've moved past that terrible misunderstanding, but nonetheless we dealt with all the plans very openly and honestly. The meet was fully discussed and agreed by the majority so Connie is totally off-base in his accusations, even if you and I were not specifically blamed like Tony, Sophie, Edwin, Cecily, Brandon and Alex.

In reality, it's all Perry's fault. Wink

BTW, I'm counting the hours now..........................

I just want to remind everyone I wasn't even down here when this year's meeting was planning. Although in retrospect, from the way some people behaved in person, and afterward, I can see Connie's point.

@Connie: Maybe instead of complaining about the vote results, you could step it up next time during the planning stages. It's not really fair to sit back and let a handful of people do all of the legwork and then complain about the outcome. Wink

What a bunch of petty bullshit. Seriously. WTF?

This mod meet was no different than any of the others, with the exception of the presence of 2 moderators who had not previously bothered/eligible to attend. Get over yourselves. It was fun, plain and simple. There was none of this "he-said-shesaid" crap going on until everyone returned home.

If you cant handle your liquor, then don't drink. Don't blame your guilty consciences on everyone and everything else. Sophie had a wonderful time and didn't touch a drop of alcohol (or Tony's meds Laughing

). You don't hear her bitching and moaning about any perceived injustices or slights to her person/character.

Alex is right. What a bunch of fucking crybabies. Confused

Whoa, people! Much as I hate to agree with Perry, we are still the same team, despite the rather glaring weaknesses of certain pill-poppers and all-around slackers. For sure, Jen and I carry most of the weight but that's cool with me. If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself. Right, Jen? Wink

Now how about another group hug (without SOOI, however) and let's see some more pics. Surely someone must have something we haven't seen that isn't just a blurry mess?? Maybe if we can get back to remembering good times we can get past this bickering.

To that end, here's one of my favs: seeing Jen handling that giant piece of meat is quite, umm, inspirational. Speaking of which, the anticipation's so thick I can cut it with a knife.......................
